We had an amazing time at the Moat House… location right on Crown Lake was GREAT and the house was immaculate!!! We stay at Horseshoe Bend every year at this time and hope to stay again next year!!!

Wonderful property! Incredible lake views!

This is an amazing place! We stayed during the winter so we didn’t get to play in the lake, but this house had plenty of amenities to keep us entertained! We are already planning a return trip for summer! Thank you Tisha!!!

Much needed vacation for all

We vacationed at the Moat House with four generations of our family from 6-83. There was something to do for everyone. The house has character and quite a history in the town. If you are looking for a relaxing get away I would give this house a 10/10. Looking forward to a return trip soon.

Perfect getaway

We came to take my brother away for some relaxation. He was recently diagnosed with cancer. The first 2 days he was very weak but on day 3 he came alive and it was such a nice time for him to get away and for us to cater to him. The house was large enough for all of us. The kitchen was fully stocked for all the cooking I did for the family. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and the views are amazing. It was sad for all of us to leave. Your place is amazing.

A lovely respite!

Our family of five needed a few days to unplug and reconnect. The Moat House was the perfect escape. It was impeccably clean, accommodating, and the attention to every detail was impressive! This waterfront property was so peaceful and tranquil and felt like home away from home. The house is tucked away in a very rural part of Arkansas, yet only 15 minutes away close from a Walmart and a few restaurants. We enjoyed Calabama and Papa Dicks Pizza for dinners while we were there and highly recommend both local spots! Communication with owner was quick and hospitable. Being such a an easy drive from our home in Memphis, I would anticipate our family will be returning very soon! Highly, highly recommend!!

Great and Unique place

We picked the Moat House on Crown Lake as the location was between our Ohio contingent and 2 of our sons, daughter-in-law and grandson in Dallas area. We enjoyed tremendously true comfortable and well stocked house!! We cooked all but one meal on the property and had more than sufficient supplies to do the needed cooking. We very much enjoyed Crown Lake and rented a boat and swam in a couple of spots in the lake. The size was right for our group of 8 adults and one infant. We used the kayaks frequently, as well as the firepit, dock and grill! Our daughter spent so much time reading on the dock. My wife and I enjoyed taking our grandson on walks to the boat rental harbor using the provided stroller. The Church and grocery store were very close by and the pizza from Papa Dicks was fantastic! We had very timely and clear communication with the owner and were extremely satisfied with our experience!! We highly recommend the Moat House for family gatherings of 8 or fewer!!
