Inside was clean but the outside and downstairs areas could use a good cleaning. Never was able to get the internet or tvs to work but we gave up even though the owner tried. Owner was very attentive. Plenty of supplies provided and that was greatly appreciated. Nice quiet neighborhood with great access to the water.
Was a wonderful stay and the owners were so nice and responsive! Definitely a memorable trip. There’s nothing bad to say about this place at all. It is homey, clean, quiet and has all the amenities you need. The yard really needed a good mow but that’s on the lawn company not the owners.

Great Place to Stay
We really enjoyed our stay at this house on Crown Lake. The house was clean, comfortable and right on the lake. We will definitely stay there again.
We love this place and have stayed multiple times when visiting my wife’s family. It’s in a beautiful spot, the amenities are great, and well for sure stay again!

We absolutely loved this place! It is in a very quiet neighborhood and the private swim area was amazing for our kids to play and stay busy while we relaxed! We can't wait for next year!!
We’ve stayed here before and will again. The place is always well kept, in a great location, has excellent amenities, and the communication with the owner is top notch!!!

Quick Stay
This house served it's purpose. We were in Horseshoe Bend to look at property that was purchased decades ago, so location was perfect. The house was super clean although it looks a little "tired". Morning coffee on the deck with a great view; and end the day sitting down by the lake. Thanks for sharing your home!
We stayed there at night only because we were there to visit our family in the area. It was a quiet neighborhood and we didn't have any problems. It was all clean and great for our stay.
We were there on business and really enjoyed the peace and quietness of the neighborhood. The host was very friendly and quick to answer any questions we had. The house was clean and the bed comfortable. The pizza place that was recommended just half a mile away was great too.
We had a wonderful stay! We came over to see the April 2024 eclipse and the house and area were everything we hoped for. The house itself was sparkling clean with a terrific screened patio and rear deck. Beautiful views of Crown Lake, friendly neighbors and so peaceful. The Crown Resort and nearby stores were close by for essentials or a dinner out. Our host was very responsive and made sure it was a trip to remember.
Nice visit. Interior was very nice the exterior or back of the house was ok. Only real issue was fighting to garage door, as someone with a bad back it wasn’t comfortable trying to pull up and down as it sticks very badly.
The property was exactly as described. Beautiful lake front setting. Quiet area. We had a wonderful stay and plan to return to this property! My only wish would be to have access to the backyard/lake from the deck. But for the price, we did not mind walking around the house.

Lake House Stay
Nice house, cleaning people did not do a good job. House could use another bed somewhere and there are definite repairs that need to be done. Overall good stay, just hard for 7 adults to sleep comfortably.
First off Miss Sharon was very kind and great with communication. The home was absolutely gorgeous and the location was unbeatable. Literally steps from the water. We had a great time fishing, kayaking, tanning, relaxing & recharging. All in all it was one of our favorite trips and we will definitely be back. Thank you Miss Sharon.
Clean on inside but exterior needed attention. Kitchen had everything needed. Garage was not usable for 2 cars if needed - one bay had a bunch of junk in it. Grass needed cutting - ankle deep on side and rear. Hot water was terrible - hot for 2-3 minutes then barely lukewarm. Basement storage room was a mess with lots of spider webs but had chairs, floats, fishing gear, etc. Difficult to get internet and direct tv started on living room tv. Plastic chairs at lake are dry rotted and need replacing or removed. Pile of dirt and debris at lake access is unsightly. Overall enjoyed the stay but expect more from a vacation rental. Nightly rate was great but the extra fees are an overkill

Spring Break 2023
We enjoyed the home and the scenery therein. However it rained like a monsoon and limited what we were able to do. If the kids had not loved the home so much I would not have been able to accommodate our activities.
1 concern is the stove top light was flickering and I made sure the burners were off. The back right burner was warm to the touch. Might be a potential fire hazard.
Trash was overflowing in excess upon arrival. .
We made sure it was taken out as instructed. This prop should be respected as it is beautiful in so many ways!
Located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Very affordable. Photos are an accurate depiction of the house and property. House was clean with no peculiar odors. There were a few things that needed some repair, but they didn't affect our stay. Our adult kids said the bunk beds and sofa sleeper were uncomfortable, and we ended up bringing an inflatable bed from my parents. Good closet space. The check out instructions imply that you bring your own bed linens, but they were supplied. Plenty of towels, but no beach towels provided. VERY low water pressure in the showers. We had all our meals at my parent's house and didn't use the kitchen for anything, so I can't speak to that. Locating the WiFi code was somewhat challenging - the carved bear in the corner of the dining room was holding it. It would have been better to have it in the guestbook. The website description didn't mention it, but there were a couple inflatable kayaks and some other inflatables as well as a pump. Overall the house was great for our stay and we'd definitely stay here again.

Not what I had expected
Upon arriving for our 3 night stay the house on the outside looked like pictures had shown. But once opening up the garage and going into the house my opinion about the house changed. I contacted the owner of the house and informed her that the house didn't looked clean, that the house smelled really musky, there were spider webs and spiders a lot throughout the house. The stairs to the basement hadn't been touched in a while and the basement door had a huge hole in it, and once inside the basement you could tell it hasn't been touched in years, very unsafe to go in. The upstairs bathrooms needed cleaning, the toliets still had pee on them and hair in the tubes, the couch and chair around the table had food or something all over them and had to be wiped down. I had to go buy cleaning supplies to clean the house enough where I felt it was okay to stay in. The owner stressed to me this was the first time she had had a complaint on the cleanliness of the house, but after going through reviews around 2019-2021 I realized that this wasn't their first complaint. (Side note: she did respond to very text I sent her in a timely manner and was never rude) I asked to be reimbursed for the cleaning fee but was told I would have to wait till vrbo released her the money to get reimbursed. The lake was nice and we enjoyed crown lakes aquatic center for the kids to play on. We ended up leaving early tho.

Hi Rachel, we’re glad to hear your family enjoyed the lake and had fun at Crown Lake’s aquatic center. The homeowner would like to address the following:- We’ve changed cleaning companies since earlier reviews and now receive photos from each cleaning to ensure the property meets our standards.- The basement is not part of the rental and isn’t cleaned regularly, though we try to keep it accessible for guests heading to the lake.- While we’re sorry to hear about your experience, we do host many happy guests each year and regret that your stay didn’t meet your expectationsThank you for letting us know about your visit.
We absolutely loved our 6 day stay here. Our boys (2&5) would've lived in the water the entire trip, had we let them. Water access is super easy and property, while seemingly remote, is still a short drive from any conveniences you may require. The inside of the house is cozy and has pretty much anything you should need. We inquired to the owner about a baby gate ahead of time because we have a very adventurous two year old and wanted to be able to block off the staircase in the pictures. We had our own but wanted to check if there was one on site so we could save room in the s.u.v. We received a quick response telling us they don't have one ( understandable) but was ok if we brought and used our own. Perfectly fine.
Every conversation i had with the owners was top shelf. We never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for a response. We would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend to anyone.
The house is nothing fancy, and i dont mean that in a negative way even a little bit. Im not the kind of person that can relax in a " fancy" place anyways and we felt right at home here. We enjoyed several meals out in the screened in porch area until the humidity was a little much the last night. Gotta love our Arkansas weather :)
If you're on the fence about staying here , hop off the fence and go for it. You won't be sorry !
Thank you again, Sharon, for a wonderful stay. Our family LOVED it !
I hate we didn't get to enjoy this house as much as we had hoped. It was absolutely gorgeous and smelled amazing! All amenities included were above and beyond. Had to fight through a few in-house cobwebs, but it's spider season. The area is so quiet and peaceful this time of year! Will definitely want to rent again
The main floor is clean and homey. We loved our stay and the host was so wonderful! The basement where you have to walk through to get to the water is unfinished with a torn floor, so I’m hoping they can fix that up to make the home sweetly perfect!
