This lovely central Chamonix property is spread over 3 levels providing you with plenty of space to relax and enjoy everything the valley has to offer. Chalet Grand Cru is a minute walk away from the bars, restaurants, and shops of the lively town centre. You will find everything you need within this fully equipped Chalet. Let’s not forget the Jacuzzi and BBQ on your private secluded terrace, the perfect finish to a sultry summer evening.



THE BUILDING :

This traditional looking chalet is spread over 3 floors and well preserved with a contemporary and stylish interior. The large French doors in the living room open onto a balcony and expansive deck with a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding landscape for you to enjoy as you relax in the jacuzzi; ideal for tired legs after your mountain adventures.



INSIDE :

As you enter through the doorway to the chalet you will find yourself in the perfect place to store ski, hiking, and outdoor equipment after a day of enjoying the Alpine environment. There are boot warmers, ski racks, and storage space for you to use. This floor also has a washing machine, clothes dryer, and an extra refrigerator. On this ground floor you will find two bedrooms, both of which are dressed with a warm wooden effect, have king-sized beds (which can be converted to 2 singles) and plenty of wardrobe space. There are two ground floor bathrooms. The first has a shower, toilet, sink, and heated towel rack. The second has two sinks, a toilet, a shower with a bathtub, and a heated towel rack.



There is a staircase leading up to the open first floor where the living room, kitchen, and dining room can be found. Warm, welcoming, and well-equipped with everything you would require for your enjoyment. The living area is cosy and relaxing, perfect after a busy day on the slopes or just to put your feet up in front of the fire with a good book.



The kitchen is fully kitted out with appliances, perfect for your self-catering holiday. Facilities include an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and refrigerator with a freezer compartment. I will leave basic supplies for you including salt and pepper, herbs, spices, oil, tea and coffee, sugar, and a selection of cleaning products to help get you started. In the kitchen, there is a large traditional dining table with ample room for 10 guests.



Following the stairs to the top floor, you will find the remaining three bedrooms of the chalet. All bedrooms are dressed with a warm wooden effect, have king-sized beds (which can be converted to 2 singles) and plenty of wardrobe space. The main and second bedroom on this level have beautiful views of the French Alps, with the main bedroom having a Juliet balcony. The top floor has a bathroom with shower and bathtub, sink, and heated towel rack. Next to this bathroom is a separate toilet. There is also an additional shower room next to the staircase



OUTSIDE :

From the kitchen there are double doors leading out onto the patio area which can be enjoyed all year round. Take in the beautiful scenery of Mont Blanc and Aiguille du Midi with a glass of wine in the hot-tub, or enjoy the late afternoon sun setting over the French Alps. There is a large outdoor dining area, with a new Weber grill including all required utensils to enjoy a barbecue on the patio with friends and family.



GREAT LOCATION :

Our guests love the central location right in the heart of Chamonix with easy access to the bars, restaurants and shops. You can also walk to the bus stop and train station in a few minutes giving you access to the whole valley.



GETTING AROUND :

We will provide your group with tourist cards/Carte d’hotes which give you free use of the trains in the valley, plus discounts at the pool and entry to museums. A night bus also runs from Argentiere to Les Houches and costs 4€ per person.



USEFUL BITS :

The smart TV in the living room is equipped with Netflix, Apple TV, Disney, Sky, French satellite and Spotify for music lovers. There is Wifi in all areas with individual connections in various areas to boost performance.



YOUR ARRIVAL :

Arrive any time after 16h and with our self-check-in process, you do not need to worry about being a little earlier or later than planned. You will be sent comprehensive information on how to find the Chalet before you arrive.



PARKING :

You will find ample parking for up to 3 spaces outside the front of the chalet, a huge plus for the centre of Chamonix.
