We did not have our pets stay with us at the property. We own a place nearby and our pets stayed there. But we love this property. If you are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to stay there, you should definitely do it!

We love having Darla and her family stay with us! Always leaves the place clean. Glad to have them as neighbors!!
This is luxurious lodging in a rustic setting. Beautiful view of the Salt Fork, great accommodations, far enough from civilization to relax peacably and yet close enough to order a pizza if you like. I definitely recommend this property.

About the host
Hosted by Stephanie Renfro
We are a husband-and-wife team from the Stephenville/Brock/Weatherford, TX area, that love the outdoors. We built our lodge and mancave in 2024. We love to host guest at the ranch. We are both avid hunters and take pride in our wildlife management programs at our ranch.
Why they chose this property
Stonewall County is known for its wildlife. We appreciate the opportunity to observe wildlife in their natural habitats, gaining a deeper understanding of the animal's behavior and ecology. Hunting brings people together and we share experiences among friends and family. The vast, open landscapes of West Texas provide unobstructed views of the horizon, allowing for expansive vistas that enhance the sunset experience. The sunsets in West Texas are absolutely breath taking. The clear skies and low humidity contribute to the intensity of the colors. The quiet and stillness of the West Texas landscape during sunset can create a peaceful atmosphere, making it a perfect time for reflection and appreciation of nature.
What makes this property unique
Our property has 2 miles of Brazos River frontage. The Salt Fork of the Brazos is a significant tributary of the Brazos River in Texas. We have County Road 235 running through our property which runs into County Road 231. It makes for a nice 30-mile ride on your side-by-side. We can provide the map, if you are interested. We have plenty parking space for your UTVs and ATVs. We have 3 extra RV hookups if you need more space. We can work with you on price.
