Welcome to Maple Lake Retreat! We welcome all families, small groups for girl’s getaways, fishing weekends, retreats, scrapbooking, tabletop gaming weekends, and more! We would love to host your family and friends for a memorable vacation.
We are located only 50 minutes from downtown Minneapolis and just 10 miles from Monticello.

Maple Lake is over 800 acres of great fishing where you can also enjoy paddling boarding, boating, skiing, wake surfing, swimming or just relaxing with a gorgeous lake view.

This memorable house is the perfect lake home on Maple Lake. Nestled in a tranquil setting. This delightful property offers everything you need for a truly amazing stay. With 3 bedrooms, including 2 King beds, and 3 bathrooms you'll have plenty of space and feel right at home. The additional living room space with 4 twin bunk beds provides extra comfort for larger groups. It is open to the hallway and is near a walk out sliding door. The downstairs will be your favorite with a living room area featuring a 65 inch smart TV, bar, and game table!

Stay connected with WiFi, enjoy the convenience of a hair dryer and washer/dryer, and relax in the comfort of heating and AC. Experience the magic of Maple Lake from this walk out property with a private sand beach and swimming area. Bring your boat and tie up to the dock. Enjoy 2 kayaks, a paddle board, yard games, and stunning sunsets from the glass railing deck. Perfect location for fall and winter fun too. Close to hiking, fall leaves, and perfect for ice fishing, snowmobiling, and close to ski hill. Fire pit near lake is perfect for spring, summer, and fall campfires!

The overall stay was great! The property had a beautiful view overlooking at the lake and had plenty of space! Communication with hosts were prompt as well! The place was well kept and clean! This was one of the best places we've been to and will be returning!

Better then we imagined

Our stay was just wonderful! Opening the front door you saw the beautiful lake views, and a nice welcome basket on the counter. The area was so open, we could all be together and the dining room table sat 12 of us. Comfortable beds and big sofas to relax on! Bathrooms were redone very nicely and well supplied. The owners were amazing!

Great place to stay for our girls winter weekend getaway. Home was just as described and photographed. Clean with everything we needed to feel welcome and comfortable. Evan was quick to respond to questions. Highly recommend!

Very roomy and it had the best-stocked kitchen of any rental we’ve ever stayed in. Lots of seating areas, there were sleds for the kids to use on the sloped yard and they had a blast. With 13 of us, we were afraid that we wouldn’t have enough beds, bathrooms, or space in general, but we were very comfortable here. Would definitely come back, hopefully during warmer weather to take advantage of the lake. But no matter the season, book with confidence that you will have plenty of comfortable beds, seating, bathrooms, and a lot of extra little touches to make for a very pleasant stay. There was a grocery store, a Walmart, a pizza place, a Subway, and a bar and grill all within a short drive, so that was very handy. Plenty of towels and blankets. I can’t think of a thing that was missing; these hosts thought of it all!

This property had everything we needed! We stayed a few days with the family and enjoyed every minute. Fishing was good for the littles..they were able to catch a few fish so that keep them happy. If there would be one thing it would be nice to have an additional fridge in the basement. But that wasnt a huge deal. The hosts couldnt have been more helpful and friendly. It is for sure on the top of our list of properties.

Amazing stay! Great communication & great check in ( early drop off much appreciated) 6 ladies celebrating a birthday. Plenty of room plus! Fantastic view of lake ( chilly outdoors so didn’t spend time outside) Very clean & could tell they really thought about necessities that you would need. Special welcome basket was so thoughtful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to stay close to the cities but far enough to be “up north”! We live just 40 minutes away and called it a “staycation” for my 30th birthday! Incredibly flexible with family guests coming to visit, Evan was a great communicator, helpful neighbors, the living area was so nice and big and big enough beds for more than one couple which is hard to find! They had EVERYTHING we needed from beach towels, beach toys, dinnerware and a highchair! The only things that would’ve made our week long stay-cation better would be an additional fridge considering we were there for a full week and the dock was a little steep to walk up when we had grandparents there! We are already talking about coming back next summer!!!

We have been married for over 20 years and have 2 children. Sarah grew up coming to Maple Lake on the weekends and continues to enjoy the it as an adult with her family. We made our dream of owning on the lake a reality in the summer of 2024 and want to share our home with you and your family.

Why they chose this property

The location of our home on Middle Maple is perfect. Great lake access without all the boat traffic. Peaceful, sandy beach and swimming area with a wonderful flat yard for games, meals, bonfires and more. Easy access from the house to the lake (lower level walkout).

What makes this property unique

Our home is a standout on Maple Lake due to the size, layout, and waterfront. You won't find another house with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a sandy beach and swimming area around!
