The Carriage house was gorgeous...terrific space for a long weekend getaway. Great neighborhood right on the waterfront...and walking distance to all the River Street shopping and eats/drinks. Great place to book!

Lucky Savannah is great to deal with. Room was as described, communication and smoothness of check-in/check out was great. There is construction in the area that is noisy at times when around but that is outside the hosts control. Very convenient to downtown via rideshare. The only two things that would have been nice is if the room did have a river view and the parking is not in eyesight of the room (around the corner) minor overall and enjoyed our stay. Thanks again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I came down for a concert at The Park at Eastern Wharf and stayed for a long weekend. The space was amazing. My wife can be very skeptical of staying in a VRBO, but even she commented several times about how great the place was decorated and how she loved that it was close to everything. The concert was right there. We Ubered out a couple of nights but were able to take a leisurely stroll back to the place. It's super conveniently located. It was very clean and in a safe neighborhood. For those concerned about the drawer by the dishwasher, there's not anything in it, so you'll be fine.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very clean and comfortable well kept space. Towels not on smell clean also super soft. Bed was very comfortable too. Was great they have an real drip coffee pot As Keurigs are the worst for wasting plastic and just don’t taste as good as drip coffee. Weekend are quiet but there are ship horns or maybe fog horns around 7am on weekdays as location right next to ship lanes but I’m a light sleeper. Overall great place to stay. 5 Stars

Huge cargo ships/barges on the river behind the property! Beautiful new studio apartment. We parked on the next street over. Not too far or inconvenient. Walkable to downtown. Would definitely return! Construction still in progress but very nice safe area!

It was very nice, clean, the bed was very comfortable. I didn’t like that you had no potholders, cookie sheets, dish towel , just one, no aluminum foil or Saran Wrap or anything to put leftovers in. The parking was not too bad, but it would have been nice if we could have parked at the carriage house. It is a very pretty property though!

We were missing TP and Kleenex, no response from owners until after our first night there. The door is loose, deadbolt required to get it to stay closed. Some noise from construction during the weekdays windows are not sound proof. Bed is comfortable!

We have family in Savannah, and have been traveling here for years, and I can honestly say from firsthand knowledge, this is hands down the best value in all of Savannah. It is actually nicer than is pictured in their listing...perfect for a couple who doesn't mind snuggling in a Queen bed. It has everything you need for your stay, including a washer and dryer, which is a wonderful amenity! We stayed for 5 nights for less than we could have stayed in a nice hotel for 2 nights...plus, at the hotel, no full sized kitchen, or laundry. I have told everyone I know about this place, and we will definitely be back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I am a person who likes to try new places just because I like variety, but this is a place I will continue coming back to. It's perfect for two people as it is set up like a well-appointed hotel room, only much more private, costs a fraction of the price (especially once you figure in incidentals like parking, etc.) and the location, right next to the river, can't be beat! A great feature that you won't find in a hotel room is that it has its own washer and dryer, plus full kitchen. On some of the reviews, it mentions that there is no closet, which was a problem the last time we stayed here, but they have remedied this by adding a clothing rack in the laundry room. Problem solved! Also, be aware that you have to park half a block away (not very far at all!) and there are stairs to the entrance, so if you are not ambulatory, it might present a problem. I have stayed in other rentals in Savannah (our daughter lives here, so we come here a LOT), and they aren't nearly as fresh and clean as this one (our granddaughter called the last one we rented "crusty".) This rental is truly a great find!

The place is nice but for the total cost, I'd prefer a place with more amenities and either a grocery store closer or place to grab creamer for coffee, snacks, etc. It is less than a block from the river so that was great so close to restaurants and shopping along the river. While uber is easy, I recommend renting a car if you want to go farther (Tybee Island), in the end we could've rented a car for probably less than what we paid in uber. There is no place to hang clothes other than the laundry room coat rack. The drawer by the dishwasher can't be opened unless the dishwasher is open and the dishwasher can't open all the way because of the stove- poor or cheap design. We had some trouble getting the front door to close all the way so we could secure the lock. Personally, I've stayed in better rentals with more amenities for the money so next time, I'll look more carefully at that.

There is no place to hang clothes other than the laundry room on a coat rack. We had a little trouble with getting the front door to shut so we could secure the lock. There is no close grocery store, not in walking distance and we didn't rent a car, so recommend if you need cream or anything for your coffee in the morning, get it ahead of time and get more coffee. It was ok, but I think I'd prefer a hotel or a place with more amenities. Just a personal preference. In the end the cost was approximate to a hotel stay with property fee, service fee and taxes and at the end you have to take out the garbage, run the dishwasher, etc. Also, the design is strange, you can't open the kitchen drawer closest to the dishwasher unless the dishwasher door is open and you can't open the dishwasher all the way because of the stove. Poor design for what is supposed to be 'high end.' I would recommend to anyone who doesn't care about what I noted above.
