A modern airy (air conditioning throughout) home with a primary bedroom and adjoining bath on the main level with two additional bedrooms and bath on the second level. Loft space for additional sleeping/relaxing capacity. Second bedroom has queen bed with a twin and the third bedroom has 2 twin beds (that can be turned into a king) and the loft space has a futon/sofa bed. Total sleeping capacity 8/9.

Perfect MV location

Great location on Martha’s Vineyard. Fully operational kitchen with everything you can think of..lots of extras in shed for great fun on beach and biking. Terry was very responsive to any questions we had while in the house.

Great Vacation Place

We loved our stay at Terry's warm, well-appointed name in a pretty location within 15 minutes of downtown OB, Edgartown, Vineyard Haven and MVY Airport. Evan was both welcoming and very responsive to our questions. I asked what we should bring and made suggestions -- he was correct when he basically said just yourselves. Great vacation house for family or friends!

A Hidden Gem!

Our family stayed at this home for the 3rd straight year and enjoyed every day. This home is centrally located in the island and in a quiet hidden community where the kids can play! Its 5 minutes from tennis camp and 5 minutes from Farm Neck golf and cafe. The home is modern and convenient with all the beach gear and bikes you could want. This place is awesome!

Perfect location—nice house. Clean, modern decor. Owner accessible and attentive. Property well equipped including spices for those who cook!! A/C would have made it perfect. With 6 people, 2 .5 bathrooms and sleeping arrangement would be ideal. Lovely gift basket upon arrival! Overall, a nice place .

This house is Awesome!

The house was beautiful! Clean an very spacious plenty of seating in doors and outdoors for entertaining. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need on the counter and in the cabinets. My favorite was the seasons and spice drawer. It’s all about the flavor!!! I love the wrap around deck and all the siding glass doors 2 in the living room, 1 kitchen and 1 in the Masterbedroom. Love it! It’s very bright lots of windows. This is definitely a gem and I will tell my friends and family this definitely the spot to rent for sure. I love it! We are planning for next year already. Note: My daughter review: My stay at Oak Bluffs was eventful. There was many activities that my family and I took part in; which made great memories. We’re definitely planning on coming back to the island real soon.

Terrible Communication

Initial booking canceled telling me it wasn’t available as advertised. Re-booked same dates after sorted out. Paid second half and then Evan messaged a week later saying payment now due. Informed him already paid and requested confirmation which he finally did. Day prior to travel asked for check-in instructions as I had heard nothing to this point. Received response with door code only. Upon check-in no fans or AC going in house when it was 97 degrees. House smells overwhelmingly of mold and mildew. Pics documenting mold in washing machine and refrigerator water dispenser. Laminate floor lifting in kitchen. Living room stucco lifting under window due to moisture. Two coffee pots but no coffee in house which was very disappointing as we arrived on island after grocery store closed for the day. I threw away a trash can full of expired food from 2021-2022 in pantry. Dishwasher full of dishes from previous guests. Outdoor grill igniter doesn’t work. Advertised 7 bikes but every single tire was flat and old pump was not correct valve stem size. One bike even had chain off. Don’t advertise amenities if they aren’t functional! Next day Evan had neighbor drop off another pump. First night, smoke detector at front door went off 3 times starting at 3 AM. Unable to lock front door with code (flashing battery needs replaced). Caretaker replaced batteries but door didn’t get fixed and was locked entire stay. We were instructed to leave back door unlocked to be able to get in.

Perfect home base for a wedding weekend!

I’m pretty inexperienced with VRBO rentals and our host made the process so easy and hassle-free. Everything from questions before we rented to questions before we checked in to - yup - more questions on arrival were answered promptly and graciously. The house was perfectly set up for our group of 5. Everything was spotless. The kitchen was extremely well appointed and an especially nice touch was the 2 coffee pots, one tp brew and one for pods. We were sadly unable to take advantage of some of the house amenities because of all the wedding activities)like the bikes and kayaks) but we did follow the directions to the lovely walking path around the cove and neighborhood. The house is also perfectly positioned yo explore the island. We were only 10 minutes from the wedding venue in Edgartown and barely more than that to Oak Bluffs. We would definitely stay here again when we have more time to explore the rest of the island. All in all it was a wonderful stay!!

Quiet Neighborhood, Lots of Greenery!

This house is located in a quiet, green neighborhood that is the definition of peaceful. We loved having our morning coffee out on the beautiful porch, listening to the birds, and I enjoyed a delightful nap in the hammock. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Our only advice to future travelers is to limit adults sleeping in the house to 7. We had 9, which the house technically sleeps, but the two adults without beds (couch/futon/mattress options) were not comfortable.

Our stay was amazing! Terry was super responsive and accommodating to our check-in/check-out times because we were limited by ferry times and we really appreciated it!! It was the perfect location to be between Edgartown and Oaks Bluff! Would come back on a non rainy weekend to explore with the kayaks!! Only thing I would suggest is make sure to bring your own soaps. It was such a lovely stay thank you!!!

Such a Gem!

This was an amazing property, the pictures do not do this house justice. Plenty of room for 9 women for a bachelorette to comfortably sleep and hang out. Only 10 mins to Edgartown which was mostly where we were hopping around. Outdoor space is great. Host was extremely responsive to any questions I had and also let us check in earlier to get things decorated for our bride to be. House comes with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend and hope to stay again in the future!!!

Don’t stay if you ever anticipate a medical emergency

I originally was going to write a great review about how beautiful the house was. However, I feel it’s necessary to discuss the issue that we had. One of the guests staying with us has a heart condition and suffered a severe medical emergency where he had collapsed and stopped breathing and did not have a pulse. As you can imagine this situation would be chaotic no matter whether you are home or on vacation. The next day I received an extremely insensitive email from the owner saying the neighbors were unhappy with the amount of commotion and cars in the neighborhood and that we needed to respect the neighborhood. My friends and I were going to do everything in our power to save our friends life and if that meant calling 911 and yelling to see if there was a doctor or nurse in the neighborhood at 5pm so be it. On a human level I think it was disgusting to reprimand me for saving my friends life. I hope the owner and the surrounding neighbors never have to perform CPR on their best friend as I had to. I am very disappointed in the way the owner handled this. Also there is no AC and the house is hot as hell. If you are sensitive to heat steer clear. Other than that beautiful home.

A world traveler that has been coming to "the Vineyard" for the last 20 years, I enjoy coming to the island because of its laid back lifestyle , access to a number of activities that I like such as tennis, golf, cycling, kayaking, sailing, enjoying the many beaches, roller skating, fishing, squash and many other fun activities. As you can tell I enjoy activities, but I also like calm nature of the island and the fact that it is a hub of summer vacation for many of my friends. Outside of the summer season , i enjoy being with the other island inhabitants and having the island to myself!

Why they chose this property

This property was just the right size and design for me, my grown children and my friends. The property is modern and sunny, airy but cozy. With tennis courts, cove access ,and walking trails in the community, one really doesn't need to leave the development. The property is equally close to Oak Bluffs and Edgartown and away from the noisy main roads.

What makes this property unique

Great access to Edgartown and Oak bluffs and vacationer friendly cooking spaces - a newer kitchen and gas grill on the deck - provide the right mix of access and stay at home ease so that you can enjoy your stay to the max. You can go to the cove to collect mussels and clams for cooking at the house. The property is close to State Beach and just three turns from South Beach - all accessible by bike (bike paths to both) , bus or if you're really into it, walking. The house is great if you're inside or if you are outside. Excellent curb appeal and parking for several cars. This a great house to relax in with your family and friends.
