Amazing house. Very comfortable. Great room accommodations for my family of 4. Great amenities. Good distance to Circuit Avenue and Inkwell Beach. Would definitely recommend this home to my friends and would return to this house, if it is available for my vacation next year.
Great house with everything you could possibly need (cookware, towels, paper, plastic, grill, laundry, beach chairs). Was perfect for my family with separate living areas. Host was available via text to answer questions. We had a car and bikes, but short walk to OB.

Lovely house, well equipped
We really enjoyed our stay. The house is on a quiet street, well-maintained, nicely designed/decorated and very comfortable. My only warning is that, if you have kids, it might feel like more than a "short stroll" to town. We did fine with bicycles and older kids but I am not sure we would have liked the location with littler kids. We would definitely rent again.

Amazing location, beautiful home!
Beautiful home located in Oak Bluffs . Prime location- we were able to easily walk to the main street which has all the restaurants, shops, movie theater, and beach. The house was lovely and really spacious. We easily slept seven. The house is clean and equipped with all you need: towels; books; wifi; washer and dryer; and kitchen supplies. There was even a welcome book from the hosts with recommendations of their local favorite spots! We had such a great visit and toured the island looking for the perfect lobster roll.
well maintained classic OB vacation home. Perfect for our family which included young adults. Easy walk to town for going out at night and bike ride to State Beach. Three bedrooms provide privacy with good common areas and nice outdoor area. (loft above garage was off limits as well as upstairs deck). Well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and everything else needed for the beach. Able to close a hallway door to create a master suite with a private bathroom. This is room with day bed. Could use a better outdoor shower. Needed AC for one day and the window units worked fine.
The owner was so nice and communicative. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, large gathering room with good sized table for dining. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The back deck and dining table was great for our happy hours and dinner. The house was very clean and walking distance to the center of town. We loved our stay here!
My adult children and I truly enjoyed this house. It was very well located - just a 15 minute walk to downtown Oak Bluffs. The bedrooms were spaced well apart to give a sense of privacy to all of us. House was air conditioned, which was great. Back yard was spacious and private. Most importantly, it was very clean and well stocked with dishes, pans, towels and linens. We will be back.
This was a wonderful house for our week on the vineyard! It delivered on everything in the listing and was super charming, clean, well equipped, and cozy. A couple things to note….
1. The couches in the living room (with the tv) were extremely uncomfortable and could definitely use to be replaced.
2. If the classic MV outdoor shower is a high priority for you, this home doesn’t offer it (although it doesn’t promise to). There’s a shower outside to rinse off the sand, but the water pressure didn’t really do the job.
3. The kitchen supplies could use to be a little more organized. It was hard to find things and we could only locate one frying pan which made cooking breakfast a process.
4. If you’re picky about your beach chairs, bring your own (although it’s very nice that they offer them at all!). The ones at the house are a bit low and uncomfortable, but that’s coming from a 6 months pregnant lady, so I may be a bit high maintenance when it comes to that.
5. This isn’t a negative, but if you have small kids it’s worth noting that one of the bedrooms is across the breezeway on the other side of the house and shares a door with the laundry/utility room. I might not have been comfortable having my kiddos that far away in a new place.
6. The only tv in the house is in the living room (none in the bedrooms or breezeway). That may be important to some.
Overall, it’s an amazing home and I would definitely recommend it! You can’t beat the location, it’s super convenient to town and state beach. We really appreciated that all linens (including beach towels!) we’re included. Mami was extremely responsive and kind!

Thanks for all the detailed feedback and for staying at our house! There are 4 frying pans, so I’m sorry you didn’t find the others - sometimes folks put them on the other side of the kitchen island.
We were just looking at sofas to replace the ones on the living room as my sister just told me she didn’t love how soft they are. Most people have told us how much they like them so we hadn’t thought to replace them. You’re right that our house doesn’t have a lot of TV’s - it’s definitely a choice - but we have good wifi for computer streaming :)
Thanks again!
Lovely house - Cute, well maintained, and very well stocked
Everyone in our group of 5 adults loved the house. it is very cute - just what you are hoping for in a Martha's Vineyard rental. I was very impressed with how well stocked the house was with towels, linens, kitchen stuff, pantry items, games, and books. Bedrooms were fine with enough storage. Bathrooms were beautiful, all brand new and we all loved the outdoor shower. Some of the furniture was just stunning - the owner is obviously buying it for herself and not just for the renters.
The wooden deck furniture was all high end and very nice and there is plenty of outdoor space and lawn in the back.
Communication with the owner was excellent and she was very responsive with the few problems we found - we were the first renters of the season I think.
The property could be walking distance from town, but it is a pretty good walk and I definitely wouldn't want to carry beach stuff on a walk to the beach. Definitely easy biking distance though.
It was a challenge to get all of our linens / towels washed and at least in the dryer before our departure, but well worth it for not having to rent linens. I will not rent house house that requires linen rentals.
We had a very nice stay at this comfortable and cozy house in Oak Bluffs. It is in a residential neighborhood near the town library, a 15 minute walk from the center of Oak Bluffs. That walk is very pleasant, as you can go through the MV Camp Meeting Association area, where there are dozens of adorable Victorian cottages. We didn't bring our car and easily got around on foot, bikes, bus and Uber for the week. The house was impeccably clean. There are window AC units in the bedrooms and kitchen, which were most welcome as it was very humid during our stay. There is a large living room/dining room that is very comfortable,. There is also a big sitting room between the main house and the barn/garage, but we couldn't really use it because it was so hot. The two bathrooms look like they were renovated fairly recently and were very clean. The kitchen is on the older side but is well equipped and it was easy to prepare a couple of evening meals. There are beach chairs, towels and umbrellas to use. The back deck is spacious with a big table and lots of seating, including two very comfortable lounge chairs. The owner was great to work with and very responsive. I would highly recommend this house for a stay on Martha's Vineyard!
My family and I were very happy with Mami's place. Very clean, kitchen very well stocked (including nice sharp knives - hard to find quality knives in a rental property!). The AC worked great (which we needed it was a hot week!), and the beds were super comfortable (also a rarity!). Nice easy walk to town (about 15 min). Would definitely rent again.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful island getaway! The home was perfect for our family vacation. The home was clean, well-appointed and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was ideal and had everything you would need for preparing meals and dining on the patio. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean and had high quality linens to compliment the bright decor. One of our favorite areas was the breezeway, the perfect place for evening conversation and relaxation.
Communication with the owner was wonderful. Mami was thorough, thoughtful and timely with information regarding the property. There were helpful maps, resources and details regarding the island upon confirmation of the reservation for those who are new to the Vineyard or looking for advice on day trips, dining, or provisions.
We absolutely loved staying at this wonderful home and can't wait to return to Martha's Vineyard to make more family memories.

Ideal Vineyard Retreat
This spacious, tastefully decorated home had everything our large group with multiple families and kids could have asked for during a wonderful week at the peak of the summer season. The property was ideally situated for walking into Oak Bluffs on Illumination night or for Back Door Donuts (maybe once too many times!), starting off on bike tours, or as the gathering spot for home-cooked meals after days at the beach. All the up-to-date appliances and utilities worked perfectly, and the quiet neighborhood ensured restful sleep. The home has a wonderfully relaxed and charming feel to it that fits with the Vineyard vibe. Absolutely look forward to staying here again!

What a wonderful house!
We had an amazing long weekend at this house. It's located within walking distance of downtown Oak Bluffs (circuit ave, flying horses, gingerbread houses and more). The house itself is beautiful and comfortable. All the amenities work and the house was recently renovated/updated. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and I have already recommended staying here to other friends and family. Will definitely be back!

Delightful, spacious and comfortable
This house is perfect for a wonderful Vineyard experience. It is within a short walking distance to some of the island's best places including beaches, coffee shops, and all that Oak Bluffs has to offer. At the same time, it is secluded enough to be a relaxing space for the entire family. There is plenty of space and cozy seating for everyone to sit quietly and read or to have a great gathering of cooking and social activity both inside and out.
The house was very clean and well maintained with all the details carefully thought out and provided so nothing was lacking for a great vacation. When you arrive, you feel like you have landed and there is no need to rush about getting anything ready. The owner has put together a great book of activities and locations of wonderful places to go on the island. You could spend years searching them out. We walked to the Camp and strolled through the gingerbread cottages on the way to get a cup of coffee and a stroll on the beach. We enjoyed walking several trails near the house and beaches near Edgartown. There was so much to do, even in the dead of winter.
We loved our visit in this house and would recommend it to anyone.

cozy, luxurious, and convenient
I just spent an incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating holiday weekend with friends in this beautifully designed home, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The house itself was gorgeous--full of light and at once cozy, elegant, and airy. The bedrooms were serene with very comfortable and supportive beds--I actually slept better there than I do at home. The bathrooms were large and pristine with a spa-like feel. The layout of the house allowed for both privacy and easy socializing. Three sets of big comfy couches throughout the house and breezeway just invited lounging, chatting, or curling up for hours with a book (and if you forgot to bring a book or your favorite DVD--not to worry, they had great collections of both!). Between the deck and the garden, there was also plenty of lovely outdoor space for naps, lazy breakfasts, grilling, etc. The care and attention to detail of the owners came through in countless ways: luxurious and very well-stocked linens and towels; high quality cookware, utensils, and appliances in the kitchen; a guest book full of helpful information and ideas to help you plan activities during your stay. The kitchen was even stocked with spices and oils that made cooking during the weekend so much more convenient and cost-effective. The location was also ideal--an easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, public transportation, and the beach. I didn't have a car for my stay, but between walking and biking (bike rental places nearby), I was able to do everything I wanted to do very conveniently. I found this house to be a soothing sanctuary with every convenience of being in my own home. I'm already plotting my return for the summer!

About the host
Hosted by Mami
Our family has enjoyed the Vineyard for many decades and hopes that our home allows our guests to love the island as much as we do. We're happy to answer any questions and to help make your stay as wonderful as possible.
Why they chose this property
We chose this home because of the perfect combination of its proximity to the heart of the island's culture and its peaceful atmosphere. The wide range of things to do for family members of all ages, safely, independently and without cars, was an enormous attraction.
What makes this property unique
We love the Vineyard feel of the house and all the comfortable places to escape to read, nap or chat - there are 4 separate places to hang out - the living room, the breezeway, the loft, and deck, so you can have space to relax.
