This comfortable home has all the amenities of home in an idyllic setting, easy access to town, beach and gorgeous East Chop. Sit in the shade under the grape vine in our yard in a classic Martha's Vineyard setting, walk into town to shop or sightsee, or take a morning walk/run along the East Chop Road to the lighthouse. Whatever your fancy, you will be close to those activities in our centrally located home. If just relaxing is your fancy, sit and read a book in our enclosed porch area and watch the world go by! Newly installed bedroom air conditioning units and ceiling fans in every newly painted pastel room make it comfortable inside or out.

Our Enchanted Cottage!

We really liked the house/cottage and location. The house was well stocked and clean. Found the cottage very comfortable and liked the ceiling fans. Didn’t need the A/C at all. Great breeze coming through the many windows. Nice billowing curtains and comfortable furniture. TV, Wi-Fi, and radio worked fine. Making plans to return next year. P

East Chop cottage

A perfect location for a great vacation. Easy access to everything the Vineyard has to offer. We enjoyed the wonderful outdoor shower, and listening to all the birds. Very relaxing! Roger, the host, is extremely responsive.

Getaway week with my young adults.

We visited the island for the 4th of July weeks which is earlier than we normally visit. The house is conveniently located.

Nice get-a-way

We enjoyed our stay and the property was fine. The bathrooms are small but the water pressure in the outdoor shower is great! The house has a nice open layout. The street is a busy one. We enjoyed discovering all the different towns on Martha's Vineyard beyond Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven and Edgartown. Thanks...

Cute house in a great location

Nice house for small family. Window units kept the entire house cool. Kitchen was well stocked. Caretaker was very helpful. The location was wonderful for daily morning walks. Would rent again.

I am a native New Yorker with strong New England (and specifically Martha's Vineyard)roots. I am an avid outdoorsman and family man who enjoys biking, hiking, skiing and photography.

Why they chose this property

Having lived in the northeast the majority of my life, I have a soft spot for Martha's Vineyard. I have fond childhood memories of visits to Cape Cod and the islands, and relish memories of biking and swimming during those summers past. When the opportunity arose to purchase a home here, I was ecstatic, and I consider myself lucky to be able to enjoy and share the beauty of this island with others.
