Great place!!

This house was extremely comfy. It was immaculately clean. The decor is perfect, furniture is perfect and beds are comfy. We come to this area often so will definitely rent again.

Perfect location

We picked the location for the ease of getting to multiple places - Jekyll Island, Cumberland Island, and the Okefenokee Swamp. It was perfect. We loved the seclusion and it is beautiful inside!

The house is beautiful with a main bedroom and loft. Well equipped and plenty of supplies for cooking if you want to. Excellent espresso machine but I had to use the manual that was thankfully in a drawer to use it. Dog run made letting my service dog out simple and easy. I did step in the hole in the floor that had the uncovered electrical outlet as did my daughter and my dog which was mildly concerning but harmless to us. There are roaches but it's on the marsh so I had to be a bit understanding but when I reported that it was unlikely that the sheets on one bed had been changed they said it probably came in after the cleaners left. I don't think so because they didn't die that fast but we didn't use that bed and moved on with life. The house is nice and the company was fast to respond. I do wish they would not send out check-out instructions around midnight and then again around 4am when I didn't reply because I was trying to sleep. Also, the privacy is lost due to construction next door that was quite loud the day of check-in but thankfully ceased the remainder of our stay. This may not be the case for everyone and it should be known. Beds were comfortable, water softener was nice to have. It's not perfect but better than most and I think they put a lot of time, money, and effort into the interior design. Just keep in mind it's in the middle of a swamp-like region and manage your expectations accordingly because for where it is, it's well maintained and cleaner than most.
Uncovered electrical outlet in floor under rug
Roach in bed upon arrival, unlikely the sheets had been changed. Saw too many live ones for this to be dead that fast.
Sunset on back porch was wonderful and furniture was comfortable.
Beautiful outside dining area and fire pit

Everything was wonderful and we did not want to leave! The beds were very comfortable. I generally toss and turn all night with joint pain, but slept like a baby here. The kitchen and pantry were well stocked, the home was beautiful and very clean. There were several board games to play and the yard was gorgeous and a nice place to relax. We felt safe the entire time! We loved the occasional glimpse through the trees of the neighbor's goat running by and the cry of the rooster in the morning. Our stay was very pleasant and the house had everything we needed- better than what I expected from the listing.
