Nice rental in Lawrence (they are hard to find) that allowed pets. Very nicely supplied and easy access to downtown or KU. Check out the family of foxes in the back yard ...
We stayed here while moving my son into KU. It was a few extra minutes from the campus, but still very close and we were really happy with the restaurants and coffe shops in the neighborhood too. The home was gorgeous inside, and we will definitely look to stay here again when we visit Lawrence!
We arrived to the property after dark, tricky to find the grass driveway, maybe a couple of reflectors to mark each side would help guests. Property is fully renovated on the inside, and has everything you need. There is a small 4 cup coffee maker, in caseyou are wondering like me.
great just not comfortable seating in living area for my 78 year old body. needs a recliner or a couch that sets higher so it is easier to get up. wildlife was abundant as we saw as many as 4 foxes at one time.
Cute little house, clean and plenty of space. Finishes are new and nicely done. Loved having a yard to walk around and the neighborhood is lovely, quiet, and welcoming. Was rainy when we were there and the yard has some dirt areas that got muddy so had to be careful not to track that inside but overall really enjoyed the stay and location. Thank you!
We had a nice stay overall. The inside of the house is very nice and updated, and the shower is fantastic, though it would be helpful to have a few hooks in the bathroom for towels and clothes. The location is okay, great if you want easy access to the river trails, but not so great because of the train noise. We knew it was near the tracks, but the trains came by often and the horns were loud. The exterior really needs some attention. When we pulled into the driveway, there were cobwebs and dead bugs all over the outside of the house, which made us question how clean the inside might be. It could definitely use a good power washing and some curb appeal. We also noticed lots of dead bugs in the window sills, so many that we didn’t feel comfortable opening the windows at all, even though the weather was perfect. It was definitely a turnoff.Overall, it’s a comfortable and nicely updated place inside, but the exterior upkeep, bugs, and train noise are things to be aware of before booking.
this place was perfect for my stay. very cozy and cute with everything I needed. I loved the kitchen space for making all my meals, the bed was incredibly comfortable, Chris was prompt and very helpful with any question I had, and I loved the quiet neighborhood. bonus that I could sit on the deck with my coffee listening to the birds. I’d definitely stay here again.
The house was very cute & cozy. Perfect for my friend & I to relax after long days at the KC Metaphysical Fair. The beds were very comfortable and the home was clean. Chris was a great host and communicated quickly. very clean. sp
Place was cute, clean and perfect for our needs. For convenience purposes- there were no basic cooking supplies- salt, pepper, EVOO, sugar, coffee/tea. Overall, would stay again but try to pack better!
