The property was nice, well kept, easy to find. I would say it’s a great option for a quick night or two if you just need a place to sleep. There’s no WiFi, tv, laundry, or community space to speak of, so it’s just the bedroom and bath, which were all good. There are dogs nearby and acorns falling frequently on the roof, so it’s not for light sleepers.

We enjoyed our stay, and the unique property, location was excellent for us. While the cottage was spacious, there are a few things that would have made our stay a bit more comfortable. Lighting……The lack of an outdoor porch light is a safety hazard, while the interior lighting was lacking also. With all the mirrors, some lights strategically placed for personal care time would make a lot of sense. There wasn’t a good spot to do hair /makeup, as far as the lighting went. The kitchen fan/light also did not work, a bit softer lighting in that area would be highly welcomed by your guests. The big bright overhead was a bit overwhelming. If the fan/light aren’t going to be in service, a softly lit lamp in the kitchen would be much appreciated. The kitchen was sparsely supplied, at least a few coffee cups would work well! A television in the room adjacent to the kitchen would be an added plus. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the space, but the previously mentioned items would make things much more comfy for your guests.

The cottage was remodeled to host bridal parties for their weddings. I am not opening it up to the public to enjoy as well!
