Great home for large family groups with plenty of space for activities and more private one off meetings. Excellent location close to restaurants and walking/ water activities.

Thank you for the great review! We’re thrilled to hear you loved the updated interior, clean rooms, and comfy beds. Helping our guests enjoy a truly relaxing weekend getaway is always the goal, we hope to welcome you back to Valhalla again soon!
We had a great time at Valhalla. The house was big, clean and inviting. And well stocked with things we didnt even know we needed. A beautiful play ground a few steps away for the grands. The beach at pelican cove was a great tip for a little water fun. The bedroom descriptions were a confusing to me. Contact with the host yielded a floorplan and reassurance that we had enough space. I have a feeling we will be back!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear your family had such a great time, that the grandkids loved the nearby playground, and that Pelican Cove was a hit for water fun. Having the house feel clean, welcoming, and fully stocked is always our goal. We can’t wait to welcome you all back to Valhalla!
We were impressed by how clean the property was. Our only real complaint was the water pressure in the back bathroom. It was very low & made showering difficult. Overall, we’d be happy to return to this property.
We recently stayed at this property and everything was absolutely perfect! The home was stocked and had so many fun games for all ages. The beach was nice and the boat rental next store was very convenient. Although we grilled most evenings, there were two restaurants on site which were both very nice! Everything was very clean and the owner was very responsive! Can't wait to come back!!
My family group had a wonderful stay at this property and look forward to booking again next year! We especially loved that the kitchen cabinets and drawers were labeled so we could quickly find what we needed. The big table was perfect for playing board games. The host was responsive and accommodating. Garage and driveway parking was convenient. We stayed in the spring before the busy camper season began at the resort so the neighborhood was very quiet. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. We can't wait to come back!

Thank You So Much! We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and look forward to hosting you in the future!
The center of the house is large open kitchen, dining room and living room where we congregated during our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated that they provided some basic provisions including napkins, coffee/tea bar, spices, etc. the living room was comfortable and inviting and the dining table large enough to accommodate our family of 9. The bedrooms and bathrooms were on each end of the house with clean, comfortable beds. We also rented the basement which had a nice suite, however anyone staying in the second bedroom has to go through the other bedroom to get to the bathroom. The step into the bathtub was a little precarious. The house was pleasantly furnished and we were pleased overall. One negative is that it is not directly facing the lake. There are dozens of camper trailers blocking the view of the lake. We did, however enjoy walks down to the lakeside and to a local bar and grill. Lots of parking space. Overall very nice place.
The kitchen is large & convenient, however, woefully understocked in the way of bakeware, bowls, utensils, measuring cups, etc. There was no tin foil, not enough garbage bags for 16 people using paper plates, couldn't find a fire-starter. Loved the location! Loved the beach, (did end up with a leach, just used some salt and it came right off) the little playground area is great for our age kids (2-7 yrs) Plenty of towels. Our kids loved biking around the campground. The community game room (no fault of this owner at all) was kind of dirty and gross. We didn't use it at all.Furniture in the main tv room was comfy and large and the tv was great. The bedrooms were all nice. The sauna room has a foldable bed-like structure in it. The garage was fun and pretty sound-proof to the rest of the house, as we sang karaoke and beer pong after the kids were in bed and didn't wake them or bother the neighbors.
Property was nice with easy access to the lake and restaurants. The house had all that we needed. Kids had a nice area to play. Was a great stay!
