About this property

Villa Atheatos On The Most Beautiful Greek Island

Located on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Glossa, Villa Atheatos is a wonderful and peaceful retreat, equipped to satisfy everyone’s vacation needs.

Built on 4 acres of grape vines and trees, this 2-storey villa can comfortably accommodate 8 people. The top floor has 3 large bedrooms (equipped with queen size beds), two balconies and a full bathroom. Τhe ground floor hosts an open space that consists of the living and dining room areas, a full kitchen, a full bathroom and a bedroom with 2 single beds.

On the large courtyard of the villa there is ample space for children to play safely or ride a bicycle in front of the house, swim at the pool on a hot summer morning or have a cookout at the BBQ in the afternoon, while overlooking the Aegean Sea.

The villa is wheelchair accessible and contains all modern amenities (Wi-Fi, large TV, DVD, CD etc.). It is located a mere 5 minute walk from the local super market, bakery and kiosk and 10 minutes from the center of Glossa.

If you feel like brining your pet with you there are 2 adjoining dog kennels designed for all breeds, while the property itself is fully enclosed.

PS. There is another small building on the property which may be used by a family member (myself or my parents) if we need to be on the island on business. Above all we respect our guests need for privacy so we only use the facility on very rare occasions.

Superb!

We have nothing but good things to say about this property. The house was clean, comfortable and so well equipped we wanted for nothing. It is in a great location, very private but close to all amenities. The owner was so helpful to us with our travel arrangements and always responded quickly . Thankyou Haris , we had a magical time and a holiday to remember .

Home from home on the balcony of the Aegean

From before we had even set foot on the beautiful island of Skopelos, we felt confident that we would be well looked after throughout our month-long stay as Haris had been brilliantly helpful over email beforehand. When we arrived we could not have wished for more. Breath-taking views, friendly neighbours with all the amenities of the village right on the doorstep and an incredibly well-equipped house, Haris had ensured that we had everything we needed, from a highchair and cot for our baby son to the smallest item of kitchen equipment. He was liaising with his local contact, Rania, throughout our stay, who helped organise a hire car (recommended), open the super market for us when we arrived on a bank holiday and get us off the island amid an unforeseen ferry strike! The villa itself was fantastic: clean, spacious and comfortable. Although our stay was during 'off season', we found everything we needed in Glossa and spent many lovely mornings exploring the winding streets and marvelling at the spring flora and fauna. Highlights for us included the roof terrace at the villa where we spent every evening watching the night roll in and admiring the stunning scenery, the beach at Kastani, dinner at Agnanti and the delicious green foil-wrapped treats in the bakery! We are truly in love with Skopelos and cannot wait to visit again in the future.

Clean, spacious house with perfect location and lovely views

We found the house to be a perfect fit for our family consisting of two adults and three teenagers. Very spacious and cosy bedrooms with lots of storage space and nice details to make the place feel like a home. Everything was clean and neat and all communication was just so smooth. Every question we had was answered so quickly and small issues was fixed immediately and friendly. The pool area was nice and we appreciate that there was both a washing machine and a dish washer. The house is so close to everything in Glossa, the bakery and supermarket is busy a few minutes walk away. We do recommend a car though, to get around and explore the beautiful island of Skopelos. The only two things we could wish for is 1) some furniture on the terrace on the second floor to better be able to enjoy the evening sun and the splendid view. 2) air conditioning would have been nice on the warmest nights. Although there were fans in all the rooms it was still a bit hot for our taste. But we knew this beforehand, so no complaints, just mentioning it. We were there at the peak season, so probably not an issue at most other times. Thank you for a lovely stay!

La villetta di Haris gode di una bella posizione immersa nel verde lussureggiante dell'isola di Skopelos. Perfetta per 8 persone anche se un bagno in più sarebbe stato utile. I bambini hanno apprezzato molto la piccola piscina della proprietà. Haris è stato molto gentile e puntuale nelle risposte. Consiglio vivamente questo soggiorno per chi ha bisogno di totale relax.

Lovely house amazing views

We stayed for 10 days, explored lots of beaches and found the villa very relaxing. Magic hire cars met us at Glossa port on arrival with our Fiat Panda 4 by 4 as did Rania the local contact who showed us to the villa. The centre of Glossa is easy to walk to for bakery, shops and tavernas and more amazing views and Loutraki port is also a short drive away. We enjoyed snorkelling and exploring the crystal clear waters of Skopelos and also hired a little boat 1 day at Wind boats based in Neo Klima which was excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much, Thank you Haris and the people of Skopelos!

The villa is very nice, the photos are exactly as in reality ,rooms are big and clean. Nice pool and garden . In the kitchen you can find all you need including dish washer. The only thing missing to be perfect is the air condition but if you are not used with it it's fine. Also the owner it is very friendly .

Why they chose this property

Skopelos is the birthplace of my father. Although it is not the house he grew up in, this estate was passed down from his father who started building the villa. This is a home to us that will be passed down many generations.
