We loved this property and Madison in general! The host was quick to respond to communications and gave great recommendations of things to try in town. The room was clean and well-stocked. The location was great for walking if you don’t mind about 10-20 minutes to get to places (the historic homes make the walk absolutely worth it!). Overall, we’ll be happy to stay here again!

Early Summer Weekend Stay

Had a great time hanging out in Madison. The Madison Inn, specifically room 201 worked out well for us. The place was clean, well furnished, and felt comfortable. The only downside is there isn't much counter space in the kitchen or bathroom, so inevitably any getting-ready routines spread across the room a bit. For a brief getaway to visit the town or to hike Clifty Falls, I would highly recomend giving this property a shot. I'm sure we'll return again soon!

The room is great. Small, but all my husband and I needed. We booked through Expedia, which took us to VRBO. We learned Expedia was a 4th party booking and the communication with our VRBO 'Host' was non existent. We had to call VRBO the day of check in to find out how to get into the room and any contact info. (which isnt easy to do) So, if you want to stay here, go through VRBO directly and save some hastle.

Adorable Escape

We have watched the Riverside Inn being restored, and couldn't be happier to finally stay there. We only gave overall a 4star because the door was very difficult to lock. It kept popping the latch. No biggie as we didn't feel unsafe.
