What a stunning location! So private and peaceful with tremendous views across the rolling countryside. The house was very comfortable and well equipped, the gardens were gorgeous and the pool was wonderful and much enjoyed. Thank you for a magical holiday and many happy memories.

Perfect Umbria Hideaway

The house is well equipped and perfectly prepared for a stay in the beautiful surroundings. The garden is a paradise and designed by the owner. We highly recommend this for a stay during a hot summer.

Magnificant house and surroundings !

We had a lovely time at Il Vigneto ! The description from Patricia was an understatement, the house and its surroundings are beautiful. Even more beautiful then the pictures. At our arrival Karen Hill was very helpfull and she gave us useful information . We recommend some restaurants in San Terenziano in the neighbourhood of the village square. We highly recommend this house !

Very pleasant stay!

We had a great holiday at Il Vigneto. Upon arrival, we were greated by the housekeeper Sylvia, who is very friendly and fun to chat with. The charming house is the perfect size for a family, with 3 large rooms, 2 bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. We were also happy to be able to do some quick loads of laundry, always a plus with kids. Everything was clean, beds were made, there were enough towels,... all was taken care off. The location of the house and pool is excellent, with stunning views over the hills and the perfect peace & quiet that we were looking for. We miss it already and hope to be back one day!

We had a very special time at Il Vigneto. The villa was everything we expected and more (the photos do not do it justice!). The home was well-appointed with everything we needed for our young family. Minor issues that arose were dealt with quickly and satisfactorily by the property manager and owners. Coming from a cold climate, we were quite comfortable in the home with windows open and occasional A/C use. The views from the property were breath-taking. I would like to particularly point out the meticulously maintained gardens on the premises. We loved having herbs and regional fruit right on the premises, and enjoyed the visits from birds and other pollinators that ensued.We would love to go back!

Beautiful find!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful house. The gardens are stunning and planted with lots of lovely flowering plants including a flowering climbing wisteria. The house is a good size. We really appreciated that there were a few basics left for us (some coffee, tea, oil, salt / pepper, and also plentiful teatowels, etc) and that the house was generally so well equipped. This makes such a difference for us as we are always travelling from Australia and don't usually stay long enough in a place to justify and use these items. This trip was a combined work and holiday, so we worked most mornings and explored all the beautiful nearby hilltop towns in the afternoons. We had two delicious dinners – at L’Achemista in Montefalco and at DELI in the main square in Todi. Both were excellent and we highly recommend them. We absolutely loved Bevagna and Todi and enjoyed a day trip to Assisi, where we went to a nice restaurant for lunch called La Selva, the last restaurant before the Basilica. We also thought the tower in Gualdo Cattaneo was worth seeing. And Orvieto's duomo and underground caves tour is also worth a visit. Beautiful property perfectly located for exploring this fantastic part of Italy. We hope to be back!

Italian villa surrounded by an English garden

Le descriptif de la villa correspond en tous points à la réalité. Merci à Keith et Patricia de partager ce petit bijoux entouré d'un magnifique jardin. Sylvia nous a accueilli très chaleureusement avec beaucoup d'humour :-) Trop cool :-) Nous avions loué la maison pour deux semaines et une dame sympathique l'a nettoyée de fond en comble. Merci pour son travail. C'est la première fois que la qualité du nettoyage est parfait pour une location de vacances :-) We enjoyed very much our holidays in Il Vigneto. The villa is beautiful and the outside was magic. The flowers, plants are wonderful. The house has sufficient kitchen utensils. It was good to two fridges, one with a freezer (we made a lot of ice cube for Aperol Spritz :-). The beds and bedrooms were exactly as described in Homelidays web site. Sylvia (who gave us the key of the house) is funny and sympatic. She explained us a lot of things about this beautiful area. Last but not least is the exceptional quality, kindness and sympathy of the housekeeper. It is very rare to have a house as clean as home :-) We received a welcomed present (a bottle of wine, milk, eggs, bred, cheese and coffee. Thank you to Patrica and Keith for all. If we have the possibity, we will come back :-) Do not hesitate to rent this villa.

We had a wonderful stay. The views are spectacular, the kitchen is very well appointed and Sylvia (the house manager) was very friendly, informative and charming upon arrival and throughout. We appreciated the tips in the house book and enjoyed relaxing in the villa and visiting nearby towns and lakes. The EMI supermarket in Todi is close by and has a huge selection of food. Also, we loved the local bakery and shops in the village. Overall a fantastic stay!

Charmante maison, bien équipée avec une terrasse en un jardin bien conçu! La piscine est forte agréable avec des températures élevées (jusqu’à 41 degrés). Le mobilier est de qualité et bien entretenu! Bonne litière et l’épaisseur des murs la protège du soleil mais si durant la journée, la climatisation a été plus qu'appréciée. La localisation est parfaite, centrale pour visiter villes et villages aux alentours et activités sportives (canyoing /rafting). Malheureusement nous n’avons pu utiliser le BBQ à cause des restrictions (communales) du à la sécheresse mais il y a suffisamment de trattoria et agrotourismo pour se régaler! Finalement, un grand merci à Sylvia pour sa gentillesse et professionalisme!

Die 10 Tage sind viel zu schnell vergangen – an einem wirklich wunderschönen Ort.Hier kommt man sofort zur Ruhe, das Umfeld lässt einen die alltäglichen Sorgen vergessen und neue Kraft inmitten der Natur tanken.Das Haus und die Umgebung bieten alles, was man sich für einen erholsamen Urlaub wünscht – genau so, wie es auch in der Beschreibung steht. Einfach gesagt: ein sehr schöner und erholsamer Aufenthalt mit allem, was dazugehört.Wir haben die Zeit rundum genossen und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Sehr schönes Haus mit einem traumhaften Ausblick. Die Küche ist jedoch stark in die Jahre gekommen. Die Kellerräume (Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer) riechen muffig, mussten ausgiebig gelüftet werden.

No guests before you or since your stay reported any such issues but we have asked our House Manager to look into potential causes during your stay. As you know, the lower bedroom opens directly to the garden so leaving the lower doors open to ensure the room is well ventilated is a very sensible solution.So pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay, the views from the terrace are indeed wonderful.

Kleines Paradies

Sehr sauberes Anwesen mit wunderbarem Blick in die typische Landschaft Umbriens. Wir haben jeden Augenblick genossen. Das Haus wurde mit viel Liebe gestaltet , das spürt man. Herzlicher Empfang durch Sylvia und Kommunikation mit den Hausben.

Wunderbar, schöner kann es nicht sein!

Wir waren im Juli im Haus von Keith und Patricia. Wir können es aus vollem Herzen empfehlen! Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, die Küche ist wunderbar und das Wohnzimmer auch. Für den Winter gibt es sogar einen Wintergarten. Was aber besonders ist, ist die wunderschöne Terrasse, auf der man den ganzen Tag über unter der Pergola im Schatten sitzen kann und auf die Hügel Umbriens schaut. Um die Terrasse herum gibt es wunderschöne Pflanzen, Oleander, Agapanthus, Oliven, Wein, Rosen, Kräuter, Geranien, Granatäpfelbäume. Alles ist sehr gepflegt. Das besondere Highlight ist natürlich der private, sehr große Pool, der auch bei großer Hitze den Aufenthalt versüßt. Jetzt sind wir wieder in Deutschland und denken ständig an unsere schöne Woche im Haus. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

This property is as described, a little piece of tranquility tucked away in Umbria.

A gorgeous home all you have to do is arrive and your adventure can begin. It is centrally located and worked awesome to see everything this region had to offer. From the pool to the fresh fruit on the property this is definitely a wonderful place to stay!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful setting

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house which was extremely well equipped for all our needs. Everything you could have needed was there! The views from the house were outstanding and we enjoyed many fine evenings looking out at the sun setting. The only thing that could perhaps be improved would be if the swimming pool water pump could be left running for a bit longer as the water became very cloudy half way through our stay.

Absolutely perfekt!

We had a really perfect stay! The house and the view is even more beautiful than the pictures could tell. The house and the pool were really clean and everything was perfectly prepared for our arrival. Fresh herbs grow everywhere in the garden. We enjoyed the daytime at our private pool and the sunset/evenings on the beautiful terrace with a good Glas of wine! We really can not say any bad thing at all!! It was perfekt and we will defined come back!!!

A place to come back to

We totally loved our stay at Il Vigneto. We were in awe with the view and the outside space. The area surrounding the house is quiet and rural. Our dealings with both the owners and Sylvia the manager were excellent. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Een heerlijk huis. Van alle gemakken voorzien (waaronder een goed werkende WiFi, niet onbelangrijk voor de kinderen). Met een lekker zwembad en een super uitzicht. Een plek om naar terug te gaan.

Traumhaft schön

Kontakt mit Patricia und Keith vorab sehr einfach und schnell, Check in mit Silvia ebenfalls sehr entspannt. Umgebung einfach toll - in der Wildnis. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, sehr gepflegt und mit der tollen Terrasse und dem Garten ein echtes Schmuckstück. Während der sehr heißen Tage haben wir ausgiebig den Pool genossen (8x5 Meter, 1 - 1,5 Meter tief) und Ausflüge in die näheren Städte, zum Marmore-Wasserfall und nach Rom gemacht (mit dem Auto frühmorgens ging das gut, Parkgarage in der Nähe des Vatikans). Die Kids waren begeistert vom schnellen WLAN. Insgesamt kann ich nur eine 5-Sterne-Empfehlung aussprechen!
