Great place for large group!

Worst road ever to get to house

I should start out by saying the house is beautiful. Well stocked and awesome layout. The yard and surrounding neighborhood is great. The problem that they don’t tell you in the listing is the road off the highway is horrible. When I say horrible I mean almost undriveable. There are so many pot holes and ruts and we did have 4wheel drive on both of our vehicles. The road is a long 5 miles from the turn off to the entrance to the neighborhood. Even if you plan on not leaving the house it’s not fun at all. It’s easily a 35 minute drive.

Great Place for family staycation

House was great - clean and in terms of size as shown in pictures. If you are looking for off the grid vibe then this is the place. We had wonderful time. The property is located about 5 miles off the highway on the gravel road. CAUTION: DONT USE NAVIGATION ONCE YOU GET ON THIS ROAD. Use directions the host sends you. They are easy to get there. So be prepared for the bumpy ride. Stock on all supplies you need before you get on this road. Getting in and out can be challenging for some drivers/small cars even at day time. After sunset I wouldn’t recommend getting on this road. Cellphone networks are not available at this place or very spotty. Get/download check in and Wi-Fi details before you get to the property.

Friend to Families

Property is beautiful, from the location nested 10 minutes down farm roads to the modern well appointed decorations it delivers. Lots of thoughtful additions throughout to make your stay comfortable and easy. The kitchen was perfect to cook a proper meal and the common indoors common space was comfortable. With that said, there were a few minor hiccups that blemished the weekend getaway. The patio overhead lights are unable to be managed directly (the switch is literally covered with a blank wall plate). The property was unable to get the lights turned on while we were there. This leaves a few very low powered sconce lights to light the patio, which simply doesn’t do anything. Bring a flash light if you want to grill, or really any of the common areas on the patio. The exterior of the house is infested with wasps, they are evidently working on this but during our stay they were losing the battle. This also made the patio common areas largely unusable during late afternoon and dusk. The kids did have fun for awhile watching from inside the wasps gather around the house. The foosball table was broken, many of the little men were free spinning or broken clear off. In total, I’d certainly stay here again if they get the patio situation sorted so that it is useable throughout the day.
