Everything at this stay was wonderful. This historic home had so many beautiful features. We had four “families” here and enough room for all of us. It was great having so many bathrooms. Kitchen was perfect for us and we appreciated the nice big table in the dining room. Parking was ample and easy access to Cleveland where Zoo and Aquarium were enjoyed. Would stay here again if I am in the area.
Thank you for your review, Timothy! We're happy you enjoyed the charm of our historic home. We hope to welcome you back for another stay in the future.
If you're looking for a clean, classic place to stay, this home won’t disappoint. It’s ideally located near downtown and the University of Akron, with a short drive to all the surrounding suburbs. I would stay again.

My family was in town for a wedding. The Werner House gave us plenty of room to be together. The location made it convenient for us and for Akron friends to visit. It was nice to be situated next to the Akron Family restaurant.

Thank you for your feedback, John! We're happy the Werner House provided ample space for your family and that the location was convenient for both your group and visiting friends. It's great to hear you enjoyed being close to the Akron Family restaurant. We look forward to hosting you again!
This place was more beautiful in person than the pictures showed. From the very start with booking till checking out was seamless. Management responses were amazing when i had issues (my fault) and resolutions. If considering staying at the Werner House, please do! Magnificent.
Thank you for the great review. Glad the kitchen worked well — thanks for the note about the salt; we'll make sure to stock more seasonings for future guests. We appreciate you staying with us and would welcome you back.
What a treat! It's not everyday that one gets to stay overnight in a historic house! The charm and the decor took us back down memory lane. We loved the added modern touches too! The beautiful architecture which has been well-maintained, made for a memorable weekend. We also enjoyed being next to the Akron Family Restaurant. Good food and great people! A lovely experience overall.

This property is beautiful and well maintained. Chic furniture and decor. It is an old house so don't expect new. Old houses are charming and this one was full of charm.

Thank you for your thoughtful review, Rebekah. We're glad you appreciated the charm and character of the home, along with the decor and upkeep. We hope to welcome you back to enjoy its unique appeal again soon.
Beautiful home built in 1904 - good HVAC for those hot summer days - noisy at night because it’s right on a Main Street in Akron with a bus stop and traffic light 20 yards from the house - well stocked kitchen for making your eat-in feast - spacious bedrooms - 5 brothers annual vacation together - great for ability to walk into downtown Akron for Rubber Duck Games - easy drive North to Cleveland for The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - The Cleveland Museum of Illusion - nice family restaurant adjoining the driveway of this property
The property was absolutely amazing. From the front porch to the top floor, everything was historic and beautiful. There were so many lovely details. We originally booked this home because of the size, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that we had booked a gem. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The home was stocked with all of the essentials and even a few extras. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay again.
This property was a great fit for our girls trip, and had plenty of well-appointed bedrooms and bathrooms that made sharing the space really easy and comfortable. We loved the unique decor and beautiful woodwork of the space and especially enjoyed the large dining room and living room. The location is off of a busy road, which is the only drawback but it is so close to everything you could want or need in Akron, so nothing to be concerned about at all. This would be a good space for a friend group or large family!

The historic elements of this home were wonderful and appreciated. This home has the potential to be someplace special. We found floors to be dirty. (Our sock were black so we left our shoes on for the rest of our visit) Bed sheets were old and pilled. Light bulbs were burned out, the tv would not let us log on and the upstairs noise became a joke about the yelling going on. The cleaning lady was very kind and responsive to some kitchen issues. My sisters did not let anything ruin our visit together! Thank you.
