We had a wonderful time! The home was absolutely beautiful with great views of the river. We spent every morning on the deck with a cup of coffee listening to the river and being greeted by Canadian geese! Many of us ended the day in the hot tub. This was exactly the get away we needed!!We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, which had all the appliances and cooking tools needed. The split level and bedroom separation was great for our all adult crew. We felt away from it all with peace, serenity and nature all around. It was only a short drive to civilization to pick up the supplies we needed. We had a great time exploring the town of Blue Ridge. Got some great fishing gear and advice. We highly recommend taking the train ride!!We look forward to staying again!!
The property exceeded our expectations in every way. Perfect for two couples and 5 small children. The kitchen was stocked with every item that a master chef would desire. I would definitely return for another stay.

Beautiful cabin, top amenities. Beds were so comfortable. Felt like home and loved the river tubing and wildlife. The pool table and shuffleboard made for lots of family fun and memories. It would be hard to pick a better cabin for future vacations.

Thank you for staying with us at Rushing River Retreat. We appreciate your kind review and are so happy you enjoyed the pool table and shuffleboard for family fun! We trust you will visit us again in the near future.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the location on the river. We wished for more warm days to enjoy the river more but the 20 temps were a little much for being outdoors. So we made good use of all the things inside., hot tub, ping pong and shuffleboard. There was plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen has everything we needed to fix our meals since we mostly ate at the cabin. I wished for a cozy chair in the corner by the fireplace so I could read and look out at the river but that is a personal preference. Thanks for the loving stay in a beautiful location.
The house and property was great. My only complaint is we had to listen to heavy equipment just outside our front door. This lasted all week from around 9am-4 or 5pm. Equipment included backhoe, skid steer, dump truck and saws used to cut landscaping stones. I wish we were made aware that construction would be going on during our stay, we could have chosen a different week to come. We spent alot of money to listen to construction all week.

Beautiful location. Deer, wild turkeys and geese just outside the window. Sleep with sliding doors open and listen to the relaxing Tocoa River.Everything provided fun games, wood, fully equipped kitchen, Awesome stay!! We will be back.Thank you for sharing your home.
From the time we pulled up to Rushing River Retreat until we left, our time on the Taccoa was absolutely amazing! The house was incredible, with no detail overlooked. It was the perfect place for our family to spend a long weekend. Only drawback for a return visit will be the house being built mere yards away. Sad to see this happening. Would consider another stay with friends and rent both places once other house is complete.

This cabin was the perfect place for our ladies’ work retreat and bonding time. We honestly barely left the property because the home itself had everything we needed and more. From relaxing by the river in the Adirondack chairs, to cozy evenings around the bonfire, enjoying the hot tub, playing pool, shuffleboard, and other games—we loved every moment and every space. The home was exceptionally clean, thoughtfully designed, and fully outfitted. The kitchen was well stocked, the amenities were plentiful, and it truly felt comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Every detail made it easy to relax and focus on quality time together. We loved everything about our stay and would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-appointed getaway. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to return in the future!

Thank you so much for your review and for staying with us at Rushing River Retreat. We are delighted you and your co-workers had a wonderful work retreat. We look forward to hosting you again in the near future.
Wow! This is an amazing home that was built with details in mind. The layout is perfect for a large family or multiple families. There is essentially four suites with family rooms between each set of two. Both the inside and outside offer lots for entertainment. The house is new, clean, and free of bugs. Customer service was excellent. The outside porches were perfect! One suggestion we have is to add a movable covering on the back windows for privacy in the bedrooms. Our one concern was there is a house currently being built next door. It definitely impacted the ambiance of the home, due to hearing and seeing the workers. Once the house is finished, it is too close to this home, which will impact the quality of the stay at this house (unless you want to be close to others in the mountains). We took many pictures of the home for ideas on our current or future home. You will love this house!
