My wife and I spent five days here in late september. Great place as a base for discovering the beautiful surroundings, rivers, mountain, lakes, hikes, fishing and culture. The apartment is perfect for a couple and the kitchen well equipped for cooking in. It is at the end of a short mountain road and has a very secluded and cozy feel. Amy was really friendly and generous with tips on what to see or do. She even took us in to the llama pen to give them some treats. I can strongly recommend it!

A wonderful space to call home away from home! This property was better than described. A spotless, comfortable apartment with all the comforts of home and more. This is such a peaceful space away from the city yet close enough to attend a concert, theatre or a sportingevent and be back ‘home’ within 15 -20 minutes. Thank you for a peaceful stay.

A pleasant, peaceful stay in the woods.

The location was perfect, close to town and close to hiking trails. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. I would go back again given the opportunity.

The llama farm was a fun place to stay and very peaceful. The only thing we found uncomfortable was the bed that slanted to one side and sheets that did not fit the mattress very well.

Thank you for the feedback. Our new cleaning gal did grab the wrong sheets although they are the right size so I apologize that they did not fit right. We have moved those so they won’t be confused. And, this is the first we have heard about the bed so I am going to check it out and fix or get a different mattress right now!

The room was spacious, clean and attractively decorated. Bed was comfortable. A very relaxing and quiet place to be. The hosts spent time with us and our young grandchildren showing us how to feed the llamas. It will be an experience our grandkids won’t forget. I will recommend this place to family and friends.

Lovely apartment in the woods

If you like the outdoors, llamas and being in the woods this is a great place to stay while visiting Missoula. The home sits at the top of a dirt road and lots of trails are nearby to hike or ride. Super friendly owners.

The property is located in a pretty wooded area, close to both Missoula and Lolo. The road getting there, once you leave the main pavement, is a bit tricky and narrow in places. It's a basement apartment that could use a good cleaning, and new/newer bedding. The bed quilt looked old and was of questionable cleanliness. It did not appear that the furniture had been dusted or wiped down (the bedside table had a sticky substance where something had obviously been spilled). There was a dirty take-out cap and what looked to be food on the outside table by the door, and the outside chairs were not wiped off. Only two bath towels and a few washcloths were provided, and no replacement toilet paper. This could be a cute hideaway but more attention to cleaning needs to occur, along with additional amenities to make guests feel welcome.

Very beautiful stay

We enjoyed the very clean and beautiful studio appartment. It was a comfy cabin style feel. The Hostess added sweet extra touches that made it feel like home. Enjoyed feeding the llamas and petting the dogs. We also loved the easy hike on Blue Mountain, at sunset. The only questionable thing was the website said it sleeps 4, there was a king size bed and a couch. Which worked out fine for us. We had a great time!

Amazing!

As soon as you get off the main road and start winding up into the trees, you know you are heading towards something special. The property is quiet and secluded, but only 10 minutes from town. The llamas are right there to greet you as you pull in! The first thing I did when I got there was feed the llamas the treats that were left for us to feed them! The apartment is adorable and very comfortable for two people. You are downstairs, but it is your own space and don't cross paths with the owners. That said, you are downstairs so you can hear the owners when they are home, but it was minimal. Amy and Mark were wonderful hosts. Everything is as claimed in the posting, and they were quick to respond to any questions. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this spot!

Lovely place to stay away from the town. Near enough that it’s easy to attend events but far enough away that it feels like you are deep in the wilderness. Perfect combination. We were greeted by a friendly cat and woke up to llama friends each morning.
