What a phenomenal vacation we had. Our group of 15 was so comfortable in this house .. it couldn't be more perfect. The lake, the house, the grounds... Fabulous! There were so many little details that were thought about. We had everything we needed, at all times. This house was IMMACULATE! We relaxed, we played games, we swam, we fished, we enjoyed the campfire. Rochelle has truly thought of everything for the best family vacation we could have. So very thankful for our time at the Pinecone Lodge!

The size of the property was great for our large group of adults and young children, especially the number of bedrooms. The outside space was perfect - plenty of room for little ones to run around; firepit and kayaks for the older ones. The setting and views were spectacular. Rochelle was easily contactable when we needed and accommodating to our needs. We all had a brilliant time.

Our stay was amazing! Our annual getaway with high school friends was perfect. The house and property is perfect for a large group. The weather worked out for us so we spent a lot of time outside at the fire pit, in the lake kayaking, fishing, etc. if the weather had been rainy there was plenty of space inside. The kitchen had top quality cooking utensils, 2 microwaves, 2 dishwashers, 2 coffee makers, etc. perfect for large groups. The outdoor space had beautiful views and sunsets over the lake. Rochelle is so nice to work with. She is a gracious host with amazing communication. We will definitely consider this home in the future.

Rochelle, our host was outstanding. The lodge was beautiful and large enough to accommodate all 21 of us with beds. The view was spectacular. The lodge was a great setting with the Christmas and woodsy decor to host our family's early Christmas. It definitely would be a place we would return to in the future.

Great spot for a large group!

We had 14 guys that stayed at pinecone lodge for a golf weekend. Everything worked out great, everyone had their own bed, and the process was easy. Beautiful setting with two fireplaces on the water. I would recommend!

This house is perfectly suited for large groups. The hosts have thought of everything. The kitchen is perfect for cooking for a large group, plenty of kitchen table seating, and two dishwashers is a huge bonus. This property is clean, well-equipped, and I'm a beautiful location on Sand Lake. It's spacious enough for 7 families. Good sized kitchen with 2 stoves, 2 dishwashers, and plenty of pots, pans, and dishes. Plenty of table space, sitting space, lawn space, and a small beach. There's a dock and a few canoes and kayaks available, including paddles and PFDs.

Our 3 generation family of 20 stayed at the Lodge at Stone Lake recently. The accomadations were wonderful and totally met our needs. The spacious front porch has numerous benches and shelves with hooks for hats, boots and jackets. The large kitchen/dining area was a great place for gathering, sharing, cooking and dining. The kids loved the "bunk bed" room and the adults appreciated the cozy bedrooms and bathrooms. The lodge was beautifully decorated for Christmas which made our stay quite special. Rochelle was quick to respond to a few questions and was very pleasant to work with. We would definitely stay at the Lodge again!

Our stay at the Pinecone Cottage was absolutely wonderful! The cottage was meticulously clean and so thoughtfully prepared. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, making meals easy and enjoyable for our whole group. The bedrooms were fun and inviting, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax and gather together. This special cottage set the stage for a truly memorable weekend — from skiing the Birkie and watching the Olympics by the cozy fire, to playing countless games and cards and enjoying peaceful walks on the frozen lake. Every moment felt warm, welcoming, and full of joy. Pinecone Cottage is the perfect place for a large group, offering comfort, charm, and space to create lasting memories. We can’t wait to come back!

My 4 siblings and I vacation together with all of our children, 18 people in total. The 9 bedrooms were wonderful, and more than enough room. The house has so much space, but we spent most of our time on the 3 season porch. There was nothing we needed that we did not find in the kitchen. This place is very well stocked and beautifully appointed without being cluttered.
Sand Lake was amazing! It was never "busy" the whole week we were there. Other boaters were considerate of kayakers. My 7 year old daughter learned how to kayak in the shallow shoreline, which is mostly smooth rocks and the water is SO clear!
