Your cozy , getaway awaits in Los Ojos at this marvelous lodge. A 5000 sq ft lodge, with 7 bedrooms including 5 queen beds and 2 bunk beds, along with 3 full bathrooms, our cool retreat is perfect for large groups or families looking for a wonderful escape. Our place is equipped for both long or short stays to make your holiday one to remember.
This property is located 12 miles from Chama in a gated community, with abundant wildlife. our guests enjoy a large covered wrap around porch to enjoy grilling and entertaining, along with an open porch above that is just perfect for stargazing or a morning cup of coffee. . It will be difficult to find a better hunting/fishing camp or a place better for family reunions/holidays. bring your four wheelers, horses, or snowmobiles, this property is avaible all year.
we are located in the Laguna Vista Subdivistion, with private access to Heron Lake State Park and just 60 short miles from Pagosa Springs CO.
with ample parking and 30 amp RV hook up.

This mountain property was perfect for our family of 10! The hosts were super. The cabin is like a museum with all the animal mounts. It was peaceful & beautiful. The grandkids enjoyed seeing the deer & wild turkey. The large home had plenty of space for us all & the kitchen was spacious that several of us could be prepping & cooking at the same time. The porch was a great gathering area in the mornings & evenings to eat, play games or watch the wildlife that wandered through the property. Do not follow your GPS.Enjoy! We will return!

Thanksmas family gathering

The cabin was beautiful and the area absolutely amazing. I loved the fact that it had nicely worn look I would definitely encourage others to stay there. Looking forward to going back again.

Nothing went well. The house is a fire hazard due to the solar batteries, power work periodically, no heat, water. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this location.

This was my 2nd time staying here which should tell you everything you need to know. My first visit I was the guest of someone who booked the cabin for an elk hunt on the rez. While it is a 45 minute drive from the meeting area where our guides want to meet at each morning, having all the friends in one cabin enhances the comradery and makes the trip so much more enjoyable. The kitchen is huge with plenty of prep space for a bunch of guys to make a mess while figuring out how our wives make such great meals at home. Eventually, we all end up outside on one of the many grills. I mean many grills...there are enough grills on the fantastic covered porch to seriously impress any man worthy of burning meat after a day of burning their lungs at this altitude trying to keep up with their guides! As an added bonus there is a fridge on the porch as well for that frosty toast to tagging out. The rooms are perfect and there are plenty of bathrooms and hot water. I have now slept in two different beds and neither one was worn-out which always bugs me about hotels. I didn't hear a single gripe from any of the complainers in my group and that says a lot about the standard the host set (and my group standards...haha)!Seriously, the porch deserves its own statement. A man can sit on this porch burning meat, drinking fine bourbon, and maybe smoking a cigar all day while watching the world go by and not see or hear another human. This alone is worth the mental reset.
