Shipwatch Condos is a gated development right on the beach with a large pool, grill & picnic area, private beach access, and covered parking. Major exterior renovations were just completed in the summer of 2024. This unit is located on the 2nd floor (parking only on ground level) and has elevator and stair access. For convenience, Unit 114 has a large storage closet located on the ground level. Beach chairs, floats, umbrella, and children's bikes are available for your use, but there is still lots of extra room for any of your personal beach gear. This 2 bedroom condo also has a fold-out sofa bed in the living room which allows space for up to a total of 6 guests.

A Wonderful Week

Once again, our trip from Virginia to St. Simon's and Shipwatch was terrific. Everything was well done and our host, Ben ensured that all went exceedingly well during our stay. A relaxing week in the middle of winter was just what we needed and the condo at Shipwatch was great. My friend and I stayed over Labor Day weekend and loved the comforts of the condo, beach access and walkability of the location. The kitchen is complete with everything you need, the bathrooms look brand new (towels are amazing) and the beds are cozy. The beach is a short walk out the back of the complex and we walked every morning and evening. Pet friendly too and saw lots of happy dogs and families. The area is very safe for pedestrians and bicyclists with wide side walks that overlook the scenic marsh landscape. We saw many marsh birds, turtles and fish. There is a cluster of restaurants a short walk down the street and we used bikes to ride to the Lighthouse and museum down the road. We loved our stay and will absolutely be staying again in the future.
