Mountain Heir is a charming cabin situated in the gated Cedar Crossing Community, providing the ideal blend of relaxation and recreation. Inside, beautiful tongue-and-groove walls and vaulted ceilings add warmth to the space. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the stone gas fireplace, filling the open main floor with natural light. The living area features a large sectional couch arranged around the fireplace and TV, creating a cozy environment perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the High Country. The dining area, which opens to the living room, seats eight guests at a large table. The spacious kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a bar seating area for up to three guests. Sliding glass doors from the great room lead to a large wraparound deck with a gas grill and an outdoor dining table. Enjoy the crisp mountain air with your morning coffee in the comfortable seating area.
Downstairs, an additional living area and game room provide ample space for family fun. Guests can enjoy playing pool, foosball, arcade games, or ping pong in the adjacent garage. The game room features a full-size futon for extra sleeping accommodation. The expansive lower deck includes a hot tub, perfect for relaxing after hiking or skiing. It provides multiple seating areas to take in the mountain views while sharing stories of your adventures with family and friends. Cedar Crossing Community offers a variety of amenities for guests to enjoy, including a peaceful walk around the pond or lunch in the covered picnic area. The fire pit is ready for roasting marshmallows and making s'mores.
This two-level log cabin accommodates up to 12 guests across five sleeping areas. The master bedroom on the main floor includes a king bed, a TV, an en-suite bath, and access to the deck with a covered sitting area. Another queen bedroom on the main floor also features a TV and access to the deck. The third bedroom on this level includes twin bunk beds, and a shared bathroom is available for guests. Downstairs, two additional bedrooms are available: one with a queen bed and a twin daybed that has a twin trundle, and the other with two twin beds, sharing a third full bathroom.
Mountain Heir includes WiFi, central heating and air conditioning, and a laundry room. Please note that pets are not permitted at the cabin. A Ring doorbell camera offers security at the main entry door. Access to the home is via a gravel driveway with a level parking area accommodating up to four vehicles. We have stayed in this cabin many times and it always turns out better than expected. As our family has grown with grandkids, so has our satisfaction with the cabin. It's a very quiet setting with beautiful views, with lots of space inside for separate spaces for sleeping, but lots of congregate space for handing out and playing with kids. It was easy to check in, and we had great communication with our host before and throughout our visit which gave us peace of mind. All in all, a great place to be
Thank you so much for choosing and staying in our home. We are thrilled that you appeared to have enjoyed your stay and that the home met your vacation needs. We look forward to welcoming you back again to our home. Safe travels!
We all enjoyed staying at the Mountain Heir. The new owners have added a lot of nice touches and it was a very comfortable stay. We have stayed in the house many times over the years, and it is perfectly suited for our growing family. We now have five grandkids in two families to go along with us (the grandparents). Each family had as much privacy as they wanted, but we also had some awesome family time. The six year old particularly enjoyed the Pac Man game! All in all, a wonderful long weekend.
