Great place to stay. My sister and I enjoyed our stay. Close to the river, close to a hotel with wine and happily, close to an ice cream shop. My sister slept in the queen bed and said it was the best sleep she's had in a long time.
Pet friendly. Decorated very nicely . Noise from laundry room was disruptive at times as was some of the conversation that took place in the laundromat.

Thanks so much for your feedback! I’m happy you enjoyed the decor and that the pet-friendly setup worked well for you. I appreciate you mentioning the laundry room noise — we’ve added a two-foot buffer between the laundromat and the rental with sound-deadening insulation and foam on the door. Still, I’ll keep looking for more ways to make the space even quieter and more relaxing for future stays.sound and help make future stays even more peaceful.
Close to downtown which was convenient to walk where you needed to go.Room was very comfortable, felt like being at home.Supplied a lot of amenities that you don’t ever see anywhere else!I Give this place a 2 thumbs up
It was a good size for a short stay. It was a little more spacious than the pictures seemed to show. (No dresser or hangers for a longer stay, the bathroom didn’t have any counter space, and the kitchen is sparse.) The bed was comfy. The couch was a little firm. The decorations were adorable.
Everything about this apartment is 10/10! Starting with everything you could need, we were very impressed there were extras on top of it. My son needed new batteries for his stuffed animal for bed, they have them. Shampoo? Check. Cozy blankets? Check. Kids games? Check! We had such an amazing stay with our family and cannot wait to stay again for a weekend family getaway.

So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! It is my goal to make happy renters!
Very clean space! Our teen even commented on how good and clean it smelled when we got there. Convenient location, very easy to find. It worked well enough for two adults and one teenage boy. I do think if we had any more people with us it would have been way too tight though. Memory foam queen bed was pretty comfortable. Teen didn't complain about the pull out couch bed. Pillows were ok, 2/3 of us didn't like them. The host was great at communicating, all of the information we needed was given right away before we even got there. They had everything there we needed for our short two day trip! Thanks for the stay!

My husband and I are involved in education. This will be our third year hosting guests in our little piece of heaven along the Des Moines River. We enjoy relaxing along the river and letting life pass us by!
Why they chose this property
We live on private property along the river called the "Badlands." This community is very relaxed and enjoyable to be a part of. Keosauqua is a great place with amazing people.
What makes this property unique
This is a fantastic location! Being downtown means you can easily explore Keosauqua’s local shops, cafes, and attractions. Plus, the proximity to the river is a real bonus.
