Clean room aside from sand on the floors but sweeping all the sand up is impossible so it’s totally understandable. The property is accurate to the images. The beds are not comfy. I think the room is overpriced but so is everything now a days. Host is very responsive which is good.

Thank you for your review! I’m glad to hear you found the room clean, appreciated that it was accurately represented in the listing photos, and found me responsive throughout your stay. Regarding the sand, being so close to the beach, an occasional bit of sand can sometimes be tracked in despite our cleaning team’s best efforts. Mattress comfort is also a matter of personal preference, as guests have different comfort needs and sleeping preferences. Thank you again for your feedback. It was a pleasure hosting you, and I hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future!

Good for a short stay

My family of 4 stayed for 2 nights since we decided to come early and couldn’t get our other condo for those nights. It was small but had everything we needed for just 2 nights. The balcony was hard to sit on and enjoy, the air conditioner put off A-LOT of heat and there was a cat pee smell but that was throughout the building grounds(balcony and stair cases), not inside the condo. The pool area was great if you had little ones to keep out of the sun, it had a sun shade over half of it. Easy walk to the beach and close to some kool little pizza shops and ice cream, Starbucks close by was a plus!

Thank you for your feedback! I’m glad the condo met your needs for the two-night stay and that you enjoyed the pool area and proximity to the beach and local spots. Regarding the balcony, the AC unit does release more heat during peak summer days since it works harder to cool the inside, especially during the hottest time in Myrtle Beach. Thank you for staying, and I’d be happy to host you again anytime!

2/10 Terrible

Liked: Check-in, location
The common areas were well taken care of and clean. And the locality couldn’t be better. The unit on the other hand was terrible. The beds are a glorified cot. They are metal bare frames with a mat on top for a mattress. The kitchen sink is literally 4 feet from the floor, making it impossible for me (5 foot tall) to wash dishes. The unit supplied 2 forks and 1 butter knife. Dollar General saved my stay. I had to buy plastic utensils and a knife to cut my avocado and apples. The cabinets look like they were built by a high school woodworking class project. The bathroom sink would not drain at all until I poured water into the sink. Perhaps it doesn’t drain because that’s where guests have to do dishes.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the location and the well-maintained common areas. I do want to note that none of these concerns were mentioned during your stay; they were only brought up after checkout. Had I been informed earlier, I would have been happy to address them immediately and make your experience more comfortable. Guest satisfaction is very important to me. I will review the points you mentioned to see where improvements can be made. Thank you again for staying, and I wish you the best in your future travels.

Lots of maintenance issues, such as the screw of the sliding door handle being stripped out and falling from the door handle, the ceiling being gapped from the molding, the bathroom sink stopper being messed up and draining really slow, only 2 working lights- one in the halfway and one in the bedroom. The room smelled like smoke as soon as we walked in. The entry way to get to the door to the room smelled like cat urine. The room smelled like potted meat on the end of day 2 into the night and we could hear the dog next door going nuts for several hours. The owner did respond quickly and that's great but I didn't want anyone in the room fixing things that should have been repaired before it was even rented out. The one thing this place has going for it is that it is close to the beach.

Thank you for your feedback. I want to mention that I offered to send maintenance to address the issues you reported immediately, but you declined the assistance. I apologize for the inconveniences you experienced, including the maintenance problems and odors. Despite these issues, I’m glad you found the location convenient for the beach. I already addressed these concerns to improve the stay for future guests.
