We had a fabulous week at this villa! It was perfect for two families, with plenty of space to spread out and relax. The location is ideal — close to the beach and some lovely tavernas, yet peaceful and quiet enough to really feel like an escape. The villa itself is very comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and beautiful views. We felt so relaxed here, and the owner was always quick and helpful in responding to any questions we had.All in all, it was the perfect base for our holiday on the island, and we had an amazing time. Highly recommended!

Villa made for a Greek God!
We had a lovely time at Ioannis' beautiful villa. He was extremely helpful and attentive before the checkin with answer any questions we might have, and his team was on time (greeting us at the 7am ferry!) and efficient with the check in and check out.
The villa is lovely, with a few different sections across the property, which allows for a comfortable stay with friends, but still a bit of privacy if you are seeking an escape. The views are fantastic and the decoration is lovely inside.
We hope to be back! Ευχαριστώ!!! :)

The location of villa Melydia is absolutely stunning. Overlooking a beautiful private bay which is just a short walk away, down some steps and you are there. Crystal clear water perfect for snorkelling and swimming. Surrounded by beautiful villas. The villa is split into three parts, which is unclear in the description. The main house, then a double room on another level of the garden up some steps, then another double room up at the top of the garden on the pool level. We were 2 families with 6 children so the sleeping arrangements weren’t ideal as we had to split up children from parents. On arrival there was no one at the property to meet us, the host’s son turned up late and unlocked the doors in a hurry, he didn’t speak any English so we were left with no guidance about the property or location etc or no welcome pack. We then found the air conditioning unit in the second bedroom wasn’t working, we contacted the host who had a fan delivered after a few days but it was too hot so we had to abandon that room and had children sleeping on our bedroom floors in the main house. The dishwasher also didn’t work.Everything else was basic but fine and the pool was lovely. We didn’t have any housekeeping for the entire week. It is not within walking distance of the main beach of Kounderous with its restaurant & taverna like it says in the description. Beautiful villa but a shame it is managed poorly, it would have been perfect if it wasn’t for the problems we encountered.
