A nice place in a quiet neighborhood central to many of the area attractions. The place is well furnished with plenty of space for everyone. The driveway is a little steep, so parking can be a challenge. But we enjoyed our stay.
We stayed a week, with 6 people. There was plenty of room for sleeping, eating and living space. The hot tube was an added perk after the long days of hiking and adventure throughout WV! Great location for all the things; hiking, white water rafting, paddle boarding, restaurants and grocery shopping.
My family of four really enjoyed our stay. My wife and kids (13 and 11) stayed here and made day trips to New River Gorge for hiking and white water rafting. It was well located and close to all the local activities. The place was clean with lots of space for sleeping. I highly recommend for your family visiting the NRG.
Great place to stay with a lot of amenities and well decorated. Host is very responsive and very kind. The hot tub was a nice touch even if it was too hot to use. The only minor issues were the floor were not very cleaned and in the bathroom upstairs, the bathtub plug would not close so no bath for the little ones.
Everything was nice and clean. Everything worked well. Everything was as described. There was some expected wear and tear on the property but it wasn't anymore than I would expect. Honestly, some wear and tear on the property made the stay more comfortable.
This place was absolutely adorable and had so much charm. It was in a quiet and peaceful area. The house was clean and smelled good, all the towels smelled freshly laundered. Everything we needed was there including soap, laundry detergent, hair dryers, paper towels, trash bags, coffee, pack n play, and highchair. The fridge had a water and ice dispenser which was an added bonus!! It was nice having a hot tub to use that was very clean with towels provided. The Host was great and quick to respond to any questions.
The house was AMAZING!!!! The house had something for all ages, card games, toys, game room, fire pit in the back yard, hot tube. TRULY awesome! The host even provided chocolate and marshmellows to make smores. That was a great touch!!!The check in process was easy and smooth. Communication with the host was GREAT!!! I text the host with a quick question, the response was immediate. My family and I will definitely be returning!Akia H
We really enjoyed our stay! The hot tub was relaxing and private, and the yard was perfect for my 4-year-old to play. The house was spacious and kept her occupied. It’s in a great location — very convenient for anyone visiting the area. The driveway is a bit steep with limited parking, but it wasn’t a big issue. We definitely plan to book this same house next time we visit!
This house was great for our trip and large group. One thing to bring that we didn’t have is kitchen towels. The hot tub was nice and we had everything else we needed.
Good place to be based for activities around NRG area
Nice big house good for muti generation family vacation. Everything was as listed except it wasn't clear to us that the bunk room in the basement didn't have a window or any ventilation. Became quite warm and stuffy with 4 people sleeping in there.
We had a nice stay at this property. It fit our group of 10 (6 tweens/teens) nicely. The neighborhood was quiet and only 15-20 minutes from all of our planned activities. The AC worked well upstairs, but the kids mentioned the basement bunk room was warm. Be warned the driveway is steep and narrow, tricky especially if you have more than 2 cars with your group.
We travelled to this location to visit Ace Adventure Water Park and to do some whitewater rafting. Check-in was a breeze. The house was great and perfect for our group of 9 (5 adults and 4 kids). The weather didn't cooperate on our final day there so we had to skip the white water rafting and spent most of the time in the hot tub and the game room. We cooked most of our meals at the house and they have a good assortment of kitchen tools. We ate out twice while we were there, once at ACE Adventure and the last night we went to the Secret Sandwich Society. The pizza at Ace is some of the best I have had. Our sandwiches at SSS were also fantastic. The house was very clean and the hot tub was clean and worked flawlessly. Very nice fridge with an icemaker was a definite plus. The bathrooms were very clean as well and everyone loved the downstairs shower. The beds were all very clean and everyone loved the huge comfy couch in the living room. They had a really nice firepit area but we unfortunately couldn't take advantage of this due to all of the rain. They also provide firewood as well as the stuff to make s'mores. The only negative thing I can say was the driveway was a little steep and narrow and we had two cars but not much of an issue. I did have a little trouble with the gas grill and getting all the burners to work. Not sure if that was the grill or operator error. Overall a great stay and highly recommend. Owner was very informative and prompt. 5 Stars
This is a cute, newly renovated house in a great location near new river gorge National park with lots of amenities. We loved the hot tub and the game room in the basement. The house could have been cleaner, we had a few cleanliness issues including finding dirty dishes in the cabinet.

Hi Melissa,
Thank you for your review and we apologize for the cleaning issue, we didn't know that you guys were having issues with the cleaning, since it was never mentioned by you on the texts but i want to let you know that proving a good experience at our property is our top priority and if we knew about the cleaning problems you guys were having we would send our cleaner over to help not only with the cleaning but with anything you guys needed. As a result we have made changes to our cleaning team to ensure that this will not happen again.

We recently stayed at this property and had a mixed experience. While the location near ACE Adventure Resort was great—making it easy to enjoy rafting and other outdoor activities—there were several aspects of the home that fell short of expectations.- The exterior of the home is relatively unkempt. Planters on the side are falling off, giving a very dingy first impression upon arrival.- Wifi is slow and intermittent. I would not recommend this property for anyone needing to work remotely.- The stairs leading to the front door are steep, and the handrails are shaky. Not ideal for anyone with even minor mobility issues.- There is only one shower upstairs for three bedrooms. Another newer bathroom with a shower is located in the basement, but those stairs are also quite steep.- Upon arrival, we found the sheets on the basement bunkbeds dirty and unwashed.- There’s no direct access from the deck with the hot tub to the backyard—you have to go inside and down to the basement.- The living room furniture is sparse. While the house can sleep many people, there’s only one sofa and two chairs with ottomans in the living room, so seating is limited.- The game room looks great in photos but isn’t well-suited for adults. The foosball and air hockey tables are kid-sized, and the shuffleboard table was unusable due to lack of sand (though the host did try to resolve this by shipping sand from Amazon).- The hot tub is a good size for four people but no more than that.

The host was great to contact . The air conditioning was broke and didn’t seem like it was still cooling after it was fixed. The grass needed to be mowed.
