THE BEACH
Where is the Beach? Walk through the Lobby shops, past the Pool, down the ramp, and down to the sand. We stock Beach Towels for all of our guests.
THE POOLS
You're in! Our Guests' names are on the Entrance List for both the Main Pool and beautiful 2nd Floor Wading Pool.
PARKING - The hotel does not give us parking. We use metered parking spots behind the hotel at $1/hour or less (some spots are free all day). Garaged parking next door is $23/day with in & out privileges, and Ilikai Hotel Valet onsite is $40/day.
THE BEST VIEW-
Our condo faces the coveted Marina/Ocean View side of the Ilikai. We are Stack "29" with gorgeous sunsets over the water. The other three sides of the Ilikai look at: (a) city/traffic, (b) hotter direct sun in afternoons, or (c) they look right into the Hilton tower (lagoon side). Our view has the coveted ocean and marina views and amazing sunsets.
BOOKED GUESTS:
All Guests MUST provide an email address so you will receive our Welcome Text and instructions with your Condo Door Code, and receive access to the Ilikai Hotel Pools.
Please note that Sofa does NOT pull out into a bed. There is only one bed, a King Bed.
Please Note: This unit has been booked through a third-party platform and is not part of the hotel. We provide one set of beach and bath towels per guest, along with a starter toiletry kit. Daily housekeeping service is not included.
Ilikai 1729 Airbnb Rental Rules
1. CHECK-IN TIME IS 3:00 PM HST and CHECK-OUT TIME IS 11 AM HST. Early Check-In and Late Check-Out requests may be accommodated on a Complimentary basis, provided either is available. Guests who do not vacate by check-out time (or late check-out time as agreed by Owner), authorize us to bill your credit card on file for a late departure fee of up to one night’s rental and we may remove all Occupants and their personal property from the Property.
2. NON-SMOKING CONDO– This is a fully furnished, NON-SMOKING deluxe Waikiki Beach condo with fully equipped kitchen and furnished balcony. There is also No Smoking permitted on the Outdoor Lanai. Should Guest or their invitees smoke at the property, Guest will be charged a $200 fee to deodorize the home.
3. ANIMALS - No animals or pets of any kind are permitted at the Property except: (1) as specifically authorized in your reservation, or (2) bona fide service animals that we are required by law to allow. Emotional support animals are not permitted except as authorized pets. You agree that a prohibition on animals is not a guarantee that an animal has not been inside the Property or that the Property is free of animal or pet allergens.
4. DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT– Effective 5/1/2020, no Damage Deposit is required, however, Guest is liable for excessive damage to the property and agrees to accept charges to the card on file should excessive damage occur during occupancy. Please observe the following conditions in order to avoid incurring departure charges for: a. Excessive Damages that are beyond normal wear and tear to the condo or its furnishings. b. Charges incurred due to illegal contraband, pets, or services rendered during the stay. c. Linens lost or heavily damaged. d. Guest evicted by local law enforcement, Waikiki Banyan Hotel Security or Owner (or Owner’s Representative). In the event of proven disruptive guests, the owner has the prerogative to terminate this agreement and vacate the premises without issuing refunds. e. In addition, Guest is responsible for, and authorizes us to bill the credit card on file for the full amount of: (1) any excessive damage or excessive loss that occurs at the Property during your stay; (2) a charge of up to $1,000 USD for violations of the pet policy, including for bringing more pets or different types of pets than specifically authorized; (3) an additional cleaning fee of up to $100 USD for excessive cleaning required by the acts or omissions of any Occupant during your stay; and (4) any fines issued by police, other government officials or agencies, utility providers, and/or Homeowner Association for violation of any law, ordinance, or rule during your stay, and any damages (which may exceed the amount of fines) that result from the violation.
5. PAYMENT – One-half of rental is paid at booking, and the remainder is due 30 days prior to arrival.
6. GRACE PERIOD – Payment grace period for all installments is five (5) days beyond due date. Reservation may be cancelled by owner if scheduled installment payment is not received by Airbnb within Airbnb’s grace period.
7. CANCELLATIONS – All cancellations must be made through the Airbnb App. Owner highly recommends the purchase of trip insurance. Though extremely rare, if a highly unusual circumstance occurs (ex. damage to condo or by Honolulu Health Order), in which case a Full Refund will be promptly issued. (a) No-Shows and Early guest departures resulting in a shorter stay do not warrant a refund.
8. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests is limited to named confirmed guests. Arrival of additional unauthorized guests will result in extra charges of $100.00 per day, per guest, and will be charged to guest’s Credit Card via Square by our onsite agent.
9. NON-APPROVED USE – Filmmaking, photo shoots, unlawful, improper, or offensive purpose for rental of the unit is impermissible. Condo may not be sublet.
10. VALID GUEST EMAIL REQUIRED / FALSIFIED BOOKINGS – To protect the privacy of our home and the safety of our guests, all booked guests are required to provide a valid email address to receive our Condo Code and Welcome Packet which are not available on any website or app as even large websites are vulnerable to being hacked. Not providing a valid email address will lead to a cancellation of the booking. Any booking made under false pretenses (falsified name, age, number of guests) is subject to immediate eviction without refund of any amounts paid.
11. UNACCOMPANIED MINORS – This unit is not available for rent to guests under the age of 18 unaccompanied by an adult. The person signing this agreement must occupy the premises the entire length of the reservation. Failure to adhere to this regulation will result in immediate termination of this Agreement and/or eviction.
12. HOMEOWNER ASSOCIATION and LOCAL GOVERNANCE– This condo is subject to a Homeowner Association governing the conduct of owners and guests. Additional rules and regulations apply. Guests may not hang towels or garments from balcony railings, and are required to keep the entry and outside hallways free of objects such as bicycles, ice chests, beach chairs, etc. Outdoor grills on balconies are strictly prohibited by the Hawaii Fire Code.
13. MAINTENANCE / HOUSEKEEPING / AMENITIES – Please contact Terry Hand at Hand Properties (223-9809) as soon as Guest notices any maintenance or housekeeping issue, or any potentially hazardous condition at the Property, or if any incident occurs at the Property that is related to such a problem or condition. Guest agrees to give Owner a reasonable amount of time to respond and will cooperate with Owner’s efforts to immediately address the concern or provide a remedy. Owner will take reasonable and immediate appropriate steps to remedy any reported problem as soon as practicable and may enter the Property to remedy any problem Guest reports, at reasonable times and with reasonable notice to inspect, maintain, or repair the Property, and to address any situation that Owner/Owner’s Agent reasonably deems an emergency that threatens persons or property. Guest acknowledges that if the Property has access to amenities that are shared with other properties, such as the shared pool, hot tub, and parking garage, that the availability and condition of those amenities is outside of Owner’s control. Owner apologizes that refunds cannot be issued due to matters of personal preference or occasionally nonperforming equipment such as building Internet access, but will attempt to remedy all issues ASAP. Waikiki Beach is a highly desirable and growing tourist area; owner cannot move the guest to a different property or provide refunds in the event that area construction or noise occurs.
14. LINENS– A large supply of clean, fresh linens and towels are provided specifically for your stay. A completely separate supply of clean linens are provided for prior and subsequent guests. Laundry services are conveniently down the hall from the unit.
15. LOST AND FOUND - Checking the property thoroughly before departure is highly recommended as the Owner will not be responsible for personal items left behind in the vacation rental. If you notice something is missing, please call our office right away and we will make every effort to locate and return the lost item(s). Any personal property found in the rental will be held for 30 days. If item(s) is unclaimed after 30 days, it will be donated to a local charity or discarded. If Guest would like us to ship the item, you may be charged for packing, shipping, handling and tax. We utilize a local mailing store for the packing and return of left behind items.
16. LIABILITY –Owner /Owner's agents will not be held liable for any accident or injury, regardless of cause, that may occur to Guest or their invitees during occupancy in or on the property. Guest agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Owner, and their respective onsite agent(s), for and from all claims for property damage, personal injury, or monetary loss resulting from your actions or omissions, and the actions or omissions of other Occupants, during or relating to your stay.
