We truly enjoyed our stay at Rice Lake. The host was great, we enjoyed the house and all the amenities it had to offer, especially the hot tub. We will definitely return!

Nice place to stay for our family group. We enjoyed the big kitchen, hot tub, and sitting on the dock. A bonus was watching the Water Ski Club practice formations on Monday night.

We had an amazing time here! Between the hot tub, game room, fishing, and fire pit, there was something for everyone. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our summer trip.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was perfect — close to everything we needed while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The house itself was very nice, clean, and offered plenty of sleeping space for our group. House was stocked, which made the stay even easier.One of our favorite parts was the beautiful view from the living room. Also the hot tub on the deck that over looked the lake was amazing. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely stay here again!

Girls weekend

Hot tub, open concept kitchen. Beautiful deck and bedrooms for catching up with your best girlfriends. It was a little more in town than i expected but we still had a blast.

It served the purpose for what we needed, 6 adults golfing the Brainard area. However, it's not a great place to swim, the water is shallow and there is a boat launch really close. Also we had things in the house damaged like the door going inside was pulling away from the frame, the toilet seat was broke etc mostly little things. The shower hadn't been cleaned well, the shower curtain was dirty and the drain was slow and clogged. We only used it for sleeping and hanging out after golf. The TV and deck were really nice, the nine o clock curfew was inconvenient for people on vacation but never turned out to be a problem. The host was easy to talk to and available.

Thank you for your feedback and for choosing to stay with us during your golf trip to the Brainerd Lakes Area. We're glad the home worked well for your group and that you enjoyed your stay. We appreciate you bringing the concerns to our attention. The door has a slight gap around the frame and that has been that way since the owners purchased the home, the toilet seat had the bolt loose which was fixed immediately during the turn as well replacing the shower curtain which is something that housekeeping is asked to do regularly. We addressed everything with you via cell phone and took care of everything to ensure future guests have a better experience. We hope that the eight 10 out 10 reviews we had before your stay help to show future guests that we are committed to making sure everything is ready for guests and I truly am sorry the home was not up your expectations. Regarding the lake, we encourage guests to look at the listings or ask questions when they book. I manage over 35 properties and all of them are unique. We feel the marketing is honest and it is certainly lake swimming at this property. This property is located on Rice Lake and many guests enjoy the boat launch, public beach, huge park, and disk golf course close to the home. The quiet hours are a city ordinance we must obey. That is why we communicate them in our marketing. Thank you again for your staying with us and taking the time to give the feedback.

The house and furnishings were very nice. The beds were comfortable and the house was nicely stocked with necessities. The house was very clean when we got there. The only thing I would say was a negative for us, is that it wasn’t ideal for my husband’s medical conditions. I also want to point out that the house did not claim to be accessible. He just found the steps down to the house and down to the basement physically difficult to manage. This is in no way the owner’s fault. I just wanted to point it out for anyone with the same challenges in mobility.

The house was very clean. We had one issue that was our own fault and Mike took care of it for us . Young grandson's caught some fish off the docks and were very happy.
