This cozy and charming beach pad is two blocks from Mission Bay and walking distance to several amazing dining options. Just a quick bike ride to both Sea World and the Pacific Ocean! All amenities provided to make you feel completely at home:) Crown Point is on the outskirts of Pacific Beach and is much quieter and bit more mellow. It is more of a family community and the heart of the town is focused around the bay. The bay is not nearly as crowded and crazy as the ocean/boardwalk and in our minds is a lot more peaceful!

Perfect stay in San Diego

Trish and Brad do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible! The house is fully equipped, even the fridge is loaded with soft drinks and beer. Next time San Diego will for sure be in this house.

Staying here was perfect in so many ways! Spacious and comfortable accomodations, quiet neighborhood, beautiful Sail Bay one block away for walking and hanging out, fun Crown Point eateries and best of all we could walk along the Bay to attend the family wedding at the Catamaran Hotel. Trish and Brad were great hosts and were able to be flexible on our checkout which made even our last day more enjoyable. Thank you! We'll be back for sure!!

Crown point oasis

This place was perfect for what we needed a quite neighborhood and closed drive to all local areas. We loved the local restaurants, The Promiscuous Fork try the blacken salmon tacos, and Bayside Landing great beer selection, both restaurant within walking distances. Trish and Brad had anything we needed. We even needed a printer real quick for tickets and they where able to provide. My and I wife felt real comfortable staying here and would recommend staying here.

Amazing house tucked in a quiet neighborhood!!

We were so lucky to find this house!! They made it feel like home with all the little amenities!! Even had a cold beer in fridge when we got there! House is clean and very well maintained!! Not to mention close to everything!! We recommend South Beach bar and grill at Ocean Beach for amazing variety if tacos, great seared tuna and great selection of beer! I highly recommend the blood orange ipa. We will definitely visit Brad and Trish again!

Everything you need to enjoy your stay here in Crown Point-comfort, style, location! Loved the enclosed patio space after a day of fun to kick back and relax. All the comforts of home San Diego style! Many nice accommodations to chose from but this one proved to be the best. Made for an affordable week’s vacation visiting my son living in PB. Had great fun with beach cruiser exploring neighborhoods, Mission Bay, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, and many sights I missed on my first trip. Internet and cable TV insured that I wouldn’t miss my shows at night, and the chocolates made for an enjoyable treat! Would love to visit again soon!

Perfect location for exploring San Diego

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Brad and Trish were friendly and welcoming, and we appreciated their restaurant recommendations. We made good use of the bikes and bike paths all around the Pacific Beaxh and Mission Bay Area. The unit located behind their home is private and beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home. So many “extras” are provided, including coffee, tea, a bottle of wine, bathroom toiletries, beach bag and towels. They have everything we look for in a vacation property. The location is perfect for exploring the beaches and a short (15 min) drive from the airport and downtown. Can’t wait to go back!

We'll be back!

I'd like to write something negative so this gem stays hidden, but that wouldn't be fair to Brad and Trish. We had a great time on our "relaxcation." We've visited this area many times and we prefer a home like this over a hotel room. There was plenty of space so my husband could work for a few hours every morning without disturbing me while I slept. All of the amenities were perfect right down to the shampoo and hair dryer. We honestly don't have anything negative to report. I think we've found our new "home" for the next time we return.

True Oasis Away From Home

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at Trish and Brad's rental. It was our first time booking a rental through HomeAway so we were skeptic. Trish and Brad did a great job gaining our trust by constantly communicating with us, so we definitely appreciate that. Our first impression of the home was "WOW!" We had our very own personalized "Welcome" sign as we walked into the house. The home was very well-maintained and clean. Everything appeared new and unused. My wife really enjoyed the decor, so we are going to use Trish and Brad's rental as a blueprint to decorate our own home. It was very private too, so if you're concerned about not getting your own space, trust me...you do (you even get your own backyard patio including a grill)! More specifically about the inside, the home had everything we needed to make it our temporary home. Some things that we want to highlight is the full kitchen, including refrigerator with a Brita water pitcher and ice, which you're going to need to stay cool in San Diego. A dining area (some rentals we have had in the past don't offer this so it was great to have a place to eat dinner at rather than at a coffee table). Netflix...we used this to get caught up with Fuller House. And our favorite part, a washer and dryer...it was great to be able to wash clothes as needed and take clean clothes back home! There were great accessories to use as well, including beach chairs, beach towels and beach bags. The rental also has bikes and surfboards to use which we weren't able to use during our stay, but plan on returning to Trish and Brad's rental and use these next time. The location couldn't have been more ideal. It seemed like whenever we went out, we were at our destination in 10 minutes or less. From Fashion Valley Mall, the San Diego Convention Center, La Jolla Shores Beach and Coronado Beach, we were at all destinations in no time. Thanks Trish and Brad for allowing us to stay in your home. It was a true oasis away from home and we couldn't have asked for anything more to enjoy our visit. As stated before, we plan on coming back to San Diego, staying at your fantastic rental and using those bikes and surfboards!

Couple’s getaway in a quiet neighborhood

Spacious, immaculate property with everything you need. Located at the back of the owner’s property — very safe and private. Great kitchen and lovely little patio with bbq too! Two blocks from the bay and a wide multi-use path that goes for miles. Hosts were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

Nice house in quiet area

The property was perfect for me, traveling alone it afforded everything I needed. Was steps away from the beach and a great little cafe and coffee shop. Parking was easy, right in front of the house. Very quiet neighborhood and tucked away behind the main house and fence felt very secure.

Fantastic home, location and hosts

Fabulous location, clean and comfortable home, and wonderful/responsive hosts. We enjoyed walking to the nearby cafe for coffee in the mornings and daily walks on Mission Bay. We will definitely stay at this location again the next time we are in San Diego.

We take a lot of pride in where we live and love our community and what Crown Point has to offer. Our favorite thing to do around here is to go on walks along the bay, which we highly recommend! We love a good Rocky's burger (which is only a few blocks away) and surfing at the beach nearby. We also love to travel and spend time with our out-of-town families! We want our guests to love San Diego, our home and our area as much as we do and hope that we can make your stay one you will always remember.

We absolutely love hosting, and are also avid Homeaway users almost everywhere we go! We have had some of the greatest experiences and built several lasting friendships throughout our travels. We hope to do the same with you!
