I was strung along for two weeks after attempting a cancellation (for legitimate health reasons). The host refused to confirm and did not put my request through. Prior to the time I needed to cancel, the reservation was suddenly cancelled by the host and had to be rebooked. It's a nice property, but the hassle and stress of dealing with the booking and cancellation process is absolutely not worth it.
