THE LAYOUT:
LIVING/DINING ROOM:
Upon your arrival you instantly feel the inviting warmth of this thoughtfully designed space. The open layout unfolds around you, with 20 foot ceilings and a sleek spiral staircase creating a striking focal point as it leads to the loft-style bedroom above. In the living room a plush sleeper sofa easily transforms into a queen bed, while an additional couch offers ample space to unwind and watch TV on this mounted flat screen. Sunlight filters through the bay window, where a desk nook invites you to pause and catch up on work. Nearby, a dining table for six anchors the room, making it perfect for gathering, lounging, or simply enjoying the space.
KITCHEN:
Follow the hallway just past the living room step into a fully equipped kitchen designed for both comfort and convenience. Thoughtfully stocked with everything you need—from a full-size refrigerator and stove to a microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker—this space makes cooking feel effortless. Whether you're whipping up a quick breakfast or a home-cooked dinner, you'll find all the essentials neatly arranged, making it feel like your home away from home.
SLEEPING AREAS:
In addition to the sleeper sofa in the living room, this apartment offers two comfortable and well-appointed bedrooms. The spacious primary bedroom off of the living room features a queen-size bed, a bureau, and a closet for added convenience. The secondary bedroom, which is accessible by a charming spiral staircase, is a cozy loft-style space with a double bed, open to the living area below. While the loft does not have a door, and has low ceilings, it’s a great option for family-style stays or anyone who enjoys a cozy sleeping hideaway.
BATHROOM:
Tucked in the hallway near the living area, the bathroom makes the most of its space with a clean, modern design. It features a modern sink paired with a mirror and a walk-in shower. The space comes stocked with all the essential amenities any guest would need, ensuring a smooth, stress-free, and relaxing stay.
THE BUILDING:
This apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator in this apartment building. From the charming brick exterior to the bright, modern interior, this apartment perfectly blends historic character with fresh, stylish design. Whether you're visiting for work, exploring the city, or simply looking for a stylish and comfortable place to relax, this thoughtfully designed apartment offers the perfect home base for your stay in Providence. It’s in a friendly and safe neighborhood right across from the Ivy league Brown University. We can accommodate up to 6 guests. Despite the thorough renovations of all our apartments, the building itself remains an older structure and is considered unsuitable for young children. However, if your children are 6 years or older and you understand these considerations, we would be happy to accommodate your stay. There is one off-street parking spot in the lot diagonally across the street from the apartment.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire apartment.
The apartment is located on the 3rd floor and shares access to the building through the front door. This front door is shared with the apartments on the 1st and 3rd floors.
The Neighborhood:
We are located directly across from Brown University, perfect for anyone visiting Brown University or even site seeing. Thayer Street is only a 10-minute walk from our location, which offers a vibrant mix of dining and shopping experiences. Savor the delicious wings at Den Den Korean Fried Chicken, indulge in the second Caffè Nero in Rhode Island, or enjoy a refreshing acai bowl at In The Pink. For shopping enthusiasts, explore the extensive selection at the Brown University Bookstore, discover trendy apparel at Urban Outfitters, and check out the latest releases at the sneaker hotspot Sneaker Junkies. Wait…. There’s more! Just an 8 minute walk away is Wayland Square. Dine in at some of the top rated restaurants like Waterman Grille, MARE Rooftop, or enjoy a drink at McBride's Pub. Shop at the Wendy Brown Home with a selection of home wear, high-quality linens, personal items, candles and much more. Or go to Milan Fine Clothiers is a made-to-measure custom clothier, with garments crafted by third-generation master tailor Jiro Darakian. A short car ride away is the Rhode Island School of Design, a beautiful sunset view at Prospect Terrance, or explore the unique library at the Providence Athenaeum. If you’re looking for more personalized recommendations on where to eat or explore during your stay, feel free to reach out—we’re always happy to help!
Getting Around:
No car needed, this is a beautiful area of the City to walk around. You can easily get an Uber and Lyft if you need to, or grab one of the scooters the City offers on any nearby sidewalks.
Other Things to Note:
This apartment is located near Brown University and RISD, which are both vibrant and sometimes lively, so there may be a short period when there is a higher-than-normal volume of pedestrians or cars passing by.
Interaction with Guests:
The building features a shared stairwell but the apartment is exclusive for your private use. There is a shared on-site laundry. If you have any questions—before, during, or after your stay—please don’t hesitate to reach out through our messaging app for a quick response. For any emergencies, you can contact me directly at any time.
