This place was perfect. It was ultra-clean, the beds were comfortable, location was ideal for visiting The Villages with easy access to Costco, Walmart, good restaurants, kayaking, wildlife at Silver Springs, and more. While kayaking we saw monkeys, alligators, River otters, manatee, turtles, and many unique birds. The hosts were top notch and thought of absolutely everything to make the stay convenient. I highly recommend this place.

This was a great place to stay while visiting friends in The Villages. Four bedroom houses virtually impossible to find within The Villages and the three bedrooms ones are far more expensive than this. Also Dave was very easy to contact and very helpful. The house was exceptionally clean and had everything one needs for their stay. A welcome basket with snacks was a nice touch. Definitely would stay again on our next trip.

The hot tub was excellent and useful after the day on the golf course. The host was most accommodating. A malfunctioning coffee machine was replaced the same day it didn’t work. The house was close to everything we needed.

Family reunion

December 2025 With a 7 night stay and with 8 guest. Beds slept well. We were in the area for for a family gathering. We had a 5-Star stay at the Horsey Hideaway. Each and every room was exactly as described in photos. Very clean and well furnished with all the amenities that you would use in your own home. Well decorated inside and out. And the host even had a Christmas tree and decorations up and running to set the mood for the holidays. Our host Dave was very nice and communicated quickly with us about our questions and gave quick answers. They even had a scavenger hunt game around the inside of the house in which we all agreed was fun. Great location and close by shopping if needed. We recommend staying at this place.Definitely a 5-Star Stay!!!
