This house had everything we could have needed for our stay. Fully stocked kitchen with pots/pans/dishes. The outdoor space even had plenty of pool floats and toys. It was super clean. The host was very responsive and friendly. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

The pool was the highlight of our stay! While the house itself was adequate there was nothing about the premises that boarded on luxuries . In my opinion it needs to be updated / freshened up .? My guests and I left disappointed!

I will give the few positives first. The host of this property is excellent. Very responsive and communication is great. The house itself is very much not represented in the description or photos. The house is very old and has a strong smell of mildew that is being masked with some sort of air freshener. The mold is visible in the air ducts as well. There is an electrical problem and the lights flicker/dim in and out constantly. The home has been renovated on a shoe string budget, but needs a good bit more attention. Carpet in the bedrooms needs to be replaced, walls need to be wiped down (there are strange stains upstairs), bathroom upstairs is very small and needs attention (handles falling off, broken toilet seat and silver fish in bathtub). The backyard looks like an oasis is the photos, but was pretty neglected (very dirty fabric on the large swing and pillows, overgrown yard that really needed to be mowed, and porch that needs a good power washing). We paid so, SO much money for this house since it was a game weekend and felt really taken advantage of. I have hesitated to leave such a negative review, but I want others to be aware.

Everything was great except the air conditioning did not work on the main floor and was not fixed during our entire stay.

Receiving my first message from our gracious host, Kelsey, I knew we had booked the perfect VRBO for our family of six! Check in was flawless, and the locally made snacks provided were a thoughtful welcome as we entered the beautiful home. The kitchen had everything we needed including a waffle station and a Keurig coffee maker with a variety of K cups. The pantry was nice to have, too, and kept our groceries and snacks well organized during our stay. The gas grill was easy to use and cooked delicious cheeseburgers. We splashed and stayed cool in the inviting pool during each hot Louisiana day, enjoyed the heated hot tub each evening, then slept very comfortably each night. Each question messaged to Kelsey was answered in minutes and a helpful message was received the day before about checkout procedures. We looked forward to our visit to Baton Rouge for weeks and look forward to returning to Kokomo Oasis again!
