There's room for the whole family in this beautiful remodeled historic home located in the state streets area of Bristol, TN. This space is just minutes from downtown Bristol and all of the local events, restaurants, bars, and shops in the downtown area! It is also close driving distance to Bristol Motor Speedway and Hard Rock's Bristol Casino and just around the corner from King University.
The home features five bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main level offers one bedroom, one full bath, and the common area including a kitchen, breakfast area, formal dining room, and living room. Upstairs you will find another full bath along with four bedrooms. You'll love the backyard area with a fire pit, grill, and patio furniture to enjoy the outdoor living space with your family and friends.
Other things to note: We are in love with with this historic home and are really proud of the work that has been done to restore it, however keep in mind that the home is more than 100 years old. The original hardwood floors are absolutely beautiful, but they do squeak and creak a little when you walk on them. They may be a little uneven in places as well.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The house was not clean, smelled like smoke, and had pet hair on the bedding. The showers were so dirty that no one wanted to use them. We had to vacuum everywhere when we arrived, but the vacuum cleaner didn’t work on the rugs. It seemed because of this that the rugs never get vacuumed.

Thank you so much for the feedback. We have addressed all of these issues with our cleaning team to prevent them in the future!
We were in town for my Father’s funeral. The house had been smoked in. Someone tried to mask the smell with a cleaner. It did not work. Our family consisted of small children and a pregnant woman. This environment was not healthy for our family. We notified the owner. He allegedly checked the house. We notified the owner that we were leaving immediately and finding other lodging arrangements. We asked for a refund too. The owner has not responded in two weeks. Poor property management. A house with almost no closets or rods to hang our clothes. The house was also in a neighborhood in need of improvement. For these reasons, I would not recommend this rental to anyone.

I’m so sorry for your loss and that your stay wasn’t what you expected. I did personally inspect the property right after you reached out and didn’t detect any smoke odor, but I completely understand how sensitive guests can be to smells, especially during a difficult time. The home is strictly non-smoking, and we take that policy very seriously — it’s been checked again since to be sure it stays that way.
We came to Bristol for a show at the Hard Rock. The property is several miles away but we were able to uber without difficulty. The property owners were on top of everything. We didn’t have trash bags or an iron and within an hour both were being delivered. There were 4 couples and we usually stay in rentals with a bedroom and bathroom for each couple. Having only 2 bathrooms wasn’t the most convenient but we made it work. There aren’t many rental options in Bristol that met our needs. The rooms were nice and comfortable. All upstairs bedrooms had televisions but the main bedroom downstairs did not. This would probably be the only complaint. When we initially arrived we were greeted by a neighbor wanting to know if we had dogs. We told him we did not. He complained about others staying who let their dogs use his yard. There is a fenced back yard to the property however there is on area that the opening would be large enough for a small dog to go through. We would stay in the location again.
