About the host
Hosted by Marty

Keala was born in Trout River and return as much as possible to be home with family and friends. Marty is from Summerside just outside Corner Brook NL and we also met on a trip back home. We both enjoy our visits to see family and friends where we also get to take a break and do sight seeing of our beautiful province, sometimes in boat and often on ATV. Our honeymoon was actually snowmobiling in NL.
We want to share our little town with everyone because its such a beautiful little place filled with fantastic memories and adventures. The people are friendly and welcome tourist. We decided to purchase a home and share it with folks from all over so they can also have the same memories as we do of sunsets, stars and the crashing waves along the shoreline. We currently reside and work in Ontario not to far from our son, daughter in law and two beautiful grandchildren. When we return home we love to walk the beach to look for treasured sea glass and take in the fresh air. There is “no place like Home”. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.

Why they chose this property
Trout River is a good area for travellers to explore all Gros Morne National Park has to offer. Soaring fjords and moody mountains tower above a diverse panorama of beaches and bogs, forests and barren cliffs. Shaped by colliding continents and grinding glaciers, Gros Morne’s ancient landscape is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
