Nestled in Neddies Harbour - Norris Point within beautiful Gros Morne National Park, our 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath chalet is the perfect accommodation for your stay as this tranquil location provides breathtaking views of the mountains and Bonne Bay.

After a day of exploring the park, The Peridot will offer therapeutic amenities that will help foster your emotional balance, sanctuary and inner peace. These amenities include a propane fireplace, a jetted tub in main bath and a jacuzzi tub in master suite. Or enjoy sitting on the beautiful wrap around deck and inhale the surrounding beauty. These are just a few of the comforts that await you at The Peridot Chalet!
This reservation has a Super Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 14 day prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 14 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 7 to 13 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 7 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.

The home was roomy and beautifully decorated, with lots of cozy spaces to hang out. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and dishes. The deck is very peaceful in the evenings. There are a couple of high-end restaurants within a couple minutes drive, and other dining options available. It’s about a 30 minute drive to the Western Brook Pond Tour. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family had a wonderful stay here. Incredibly clean and beautifully furnished. The view of the bay and the Tablelands from the deck is awesome. Plenty of space for the 5 of us. Very convenient location in the middle of the park. We loved it!

Convenient to park and shopping. Very nice place, quiet, some nice views of the Tablelands from back deck. Buy groceries in Deer Lake or at a local store with much less stocking. Black Spruce restaurant was good but a bit heavy on sauces - (Cod dinner). Hike up partway or all of Gros Morne trail - just 5 miles or so away. Don't miss Discovery Center - excellent geology displays. And Green Point for interest in the Cambrian/Ordovician boundary (for geology nuts like me). Very good kitchen, beds comfy, all one could ask for.

A return visit to Gros Morne

Lovely stay in Norris Point with our grown up kids and son in law. Spent a week in this area about 14 years ago when the kids were young. It was great to re-explore some areas of the park and discover new ones. Cottage was beautiful and so were the nearby restaurants in Norris Point, particularly Black Spruce and Les Chanterelles. Would definitely come back!

Outstanding spot in the Gross Morne National Park area

Spacious, very well equipped house with lovely views across the channel at Neddies Cove. The back deck is great for sitting out in the late afternoon. Bedrooms are super comfortable. Kitchen was perfect for preparing dinner for four and had every piece of kitchen equipment you could possibly need. Will definitely try and revisit at some point.

Great location! Beautiful house!

We stayed here for the last 2 nights of our journey across the province. This home is beautiful and located in a very quiet area. There are outdoor seating areas if you want sun or shade, front or back of the house. Though the homes are close together, the backyard sitting area is completely private. Great for reading and enjoying a glass of wine without feeling like you are being watched. Great views! Lots of seating as well inside and out. Master bedroom bed was incredibly comfortable - my best sleeps of the trip. The hosts have thought of everything here! For an amazing dinner out, we highly recommend Chanterelles Restaurant at the Sugar Hill Inn. Best meal of our trip and the staff are so friendly. Make a reservation ahead! The photos I've attached are just down the lane from the house. Beautiful area! Wish we had another day here just to walkabout.

This property was AMAZING!!! Excellent location close to Rocky Harbour and a short water taxi ride to Woody Point! The views are breath taking!!! Yvonne’s chalet has everything you need for your stay and exceptionally clean! Our group of friends decided to cook majority of our meals to enjoy every moment of the spectacular view on the deck! Yvonne was efficient at getting back to us and very helpful. We would most definitely recommend this property…trust me you won’t be disappointed!

Lovely setting in Neddie’s Harbour. Close proximity to Gros Morne for day trips to the park. House was well setup for our situation with two couples but could easily handle a family. Very clean and nicely appointed. Quiet neighbourhood. Nice views of the water. Would recommend.

Norris Point

This place was perfect, I stayed there with my wife and two other couples. Plenty of room and perfect location and fantastic view from the deck. It is also close by to some great restaurants.
