I found Blue Ridge, GA when in search of a mountain getaway close to FL that had a small town vibe and stunning mountain views! When I visited Blue Ridge and its surrounding area to unwind and enjoy the mountains it was love at first sight. I fell in love with its downtown charm, craft breweries, wineries, shops, galleries and restaurants, all coupled with the plentiful outdoor activities, it had me hooked! While vacationing here in Blue Ridge and the surrounding areas, we discovered so much to do outdoors. I enjoy hiking the beautiful trials and visiting local waterfalls, tubing the Toccoa River, going whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River, boating on Lake Blue Ridge, apple picking at Mercier Orchards, riding the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad and just taking in the fresh mountain air and views. There is something to do here every season!
