Luxury 100m2 house 15min. from the sea

Welcome to Naxos, the largest island of Cyclades!
Venture into the heart of charming Naxos, in a perfect spot, that ideally combines both peacefulness and unique proximity to the beaches and all points of interest on the island!
This is a 100m2 luxury house in the middle of Naxos, situated in the village Damarionas, very close to the west side of the island where the best beaches are located, as well as the picturesque villages of Chalki, Filoti and Apeiranthos. This 120 years old house is built and renovated with respect to the traditional local architecture.
It consists of the main house, two balconies and a terrace. The main house is comprised of a sitting room, a kitchen, two bedrooms (one with a double bed and a crib and one with two single beds), two bathrooms and a storeroom. One good quality roll-away bed can be added upon request.
The terrace and balconies offer amazing views to Damarionas, the "Tragea" valley as well as breathtaking mountain and sunset views.
House is accessible by public bus, although car/bike is strongly recommended.
Upon arrival at the port, besides escorting you to my house and explaining it, I will take you on a familiarization tour of the surrounding area and point out everything there is to see and experience. Also, I will provide you with all the necessary info and recommendations on how to plan the best possible exploration trip of the island, in order to make the most out of your precious vacation time!
This is a house in which we've put our soul into building, maintaining and decorating. Respectful treatment and reasonable water/electricity usage are expected.
The location combines easy access to many lovely beaches and villages of the island as well as to the less known east side of the island.
The beaches and the town of Naxos are 15-30 minutes away.
The village of Damarionas has Cycladic architecture with white houses and narrow paths.

Delightful house in mountain village

This was the perfect place for us. The location was great for the sightseeing we wanted to do. The house spacious and had everything we needed. Our host was welcoming and very helpful with recommendations and help when we needed it. Highly recommended!

Perfect place to stay in inland Naxos

We had a wonderful week in Polyvios's house in the village of Damarionas, Naxos. The place ist beautiful, cozy, elegantly appointed, full of character and spotlessly clean. The two balconies/terraces (one of them romantically overgrown with ivy) are a treat, as is the house's setting, in a traditional village in the Tragea plain. There's one very good place to eat within 2 minutes walk, other than that (and for shops), Chalki ist nearby. Check-in and communication was excellent - Polyvios wasn't there in person, but was very helpful and reliable by e-mail. All in all, warmly recommended!

Quelques jours parfaits dans cette maison où rien ne manque....Située dans un petit village tranquille mais plein de charme. Un seul regret, celui de n'avoir pu rencontrer Polyvios avec qui nous avons eu des échanges mail très précieux et très chaleureux...Nous le remercions vivement et très sincèrement. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette location....

Très bon séjour

Excellent accueil de Polyvios malgré un important retard de notre bateau à l’arrivee à Naxos. La maison est belle et agréable, dans un village tranquille au cœur de l’ile, idéal pour la découvrir au-delà des plages touristiques. La maison est très propre, bien équipée, notamment pour une famille et dispose de deux terrasses. Notre hôte nous a aidé pour la location d’un véhicule et conseillé pour les visites dans l’ile ou les restaurants. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable

Parfait!

Tout était parfait: l'île est vraiment magnifique, la maison, en plus d'être très agréable (2 terrasses, l'une ensoleillée le matin et l'autre l'après-midi) et bien équipée, est située en plein centre de l'île, ce qui permet de visiter tous ses recoins sans faire trop de voiture. Juste à côté, le joli petit village de Halki propose toute sorte de commerces. L'accueil a également été très agréable puisque le propriétaire s'est chargé pour nous de la location de la voiture et nous attendait à notre arrivée au ferry pour nous guider jusqu'à la location. Nous recommendons vivement cette location!

Perfetto da non perdere !!!!!!!!!!!!

Polivos è il proprietario di una splendida casetta nel cuore di Naxos.....Dista circa 15Km dal cuore pulsante dell'isola e le strade sono facilmente percorribili.....Una delle spiagge molto belle dista circa 15 min.di auto......La casa è molto baricentrica considerando l'isola nella sua interezza e dista 1.5 km circa da un paese Filoti che è bellissimo, pieno di giovani, di caffè e ristoranti tra i migliori dell'isola e dove si può anche praticare escursionismo arrampicandosi sulla montagna di Zeus... L'isola è molto bella, si mangia bene e ci sono tante belle spiagge, merita davvero una visita... Non ho ancora parlato del proprietario Polivos perché è la ciliegina e merita davvero un ringraziamento particolare da parte mia e di tutta la famiglia.....Una persona che più cordiale e attenta non si può. La casa è come si vede nell'inserzione e non manca assolutamente nulla, pulita, fresca e situata in un paesino molto pittoresco.... In tutto il nostro soggiorno i proprietari ci hanno fatto dono più volte di tanti prodotti locali e sempre della loro estrema cortesia ed ospitalità..... Non mi resta altro da dire che Forza Ragazzi, cosa aspettate?????? Provare per Credere................. Noi sicuramente ci ritorneremo presto.....

Location vivement recommandée : hôtes très accueillants, maison bien équipée, joli village

Le propriétaire de la maison et sa famille nous ont très bien accueillis. Il nous attendait au port, et s'était occupé de la voiture de location, qui nous attendait garée directement sur le port de Naxos. Ils ont été très généreux, nous ont offerts des fruits et ont été discrets sur le reste du séjour. La maison est confortable, très bien équipée, 2 salles de bain, 2 terrasses, dont l'une toujours à l'ombre. Maison fraîche, très pratique avec de petits enfants. Un chouette toit terrasse. Le village est peu connu, mais très joli et traditionnel. Situé à 20 minutes de voiture (fortement recommandée) des différentes plages, mais à 5 mn du centre de l'île (Aliki), donc très pratique pour visiter les villages et églises du centre de l'île, qui vaut vraiment le détour (campagnes, oliviers, églises byzantines). Je ne saurais que vous recommandez ce logement

Location fortement recommandée

Polyvios et sa famille ont été très très accueillants . Le propriétaire nous attendait au port et s'était occupé de notre voiture de location qui nous attendait sur le port. Il nous a offert des fruits. La maison est très confortable, bien équipée, fraîche, située dans un joli village traditionnel. Le wifi fonctionne très bien. 2 terrasses et un toit terrasse avec une très belle vue sur la région. Nous étions avec 2 petits enfants . C'est un lieu idéal pour visiter l île. Loin des zones trop touristiques. Proche des villages du centre de l'île et à 20 minutes des plages. Voiture obligatoire cependant.

Would defenitely recommend

The house was spacious, clean and traditional, offered a unique view especially from the terrace. Fully equiped, ideal for families, provided all amenities for a joyful stay. Α car is necessary in order to have easy access to everything you need and to the wonderful beaches. A lot of thanks to the very hospitable Polyvios who made us feel like home. Many thanks to the neighbour as well who treated us local cheese!
