Quaint cottage built in 1927. Located on a 28-acre farm/ranch 45 minutes southwest of Ft. Worth and minutes from beautiful downtown Granbury. This is an ideal location for someone seeking a country retreat or for a couple looking for a romantic get-away or anyone wanting a country location. This property features a cozy living room with a convenient Murphy bed (full-size mattress) for sleeping space. Guests can enjoy amenities like access to the swimming pool (located by main house, walking distance to the cottage), fast WiFi, and a kitchen with full-sized appliances. With a welcoming atmosphere and all the comforts of home, this cottage is the perfect retreat for your getaway. We look forward to hosting you at our place.

We're relatively new to country life and we love it! After raising our children in the DFW metroplex, we wanted a quieter life in the country. We have loved hosting family and friends from around the world and enjoy meeting new people.

Why they chose this property

We bought the land several years ago and gradually cleared it before moving the cottage from Fort Worth to its current location. We spent weekends restoring it to its (mostly) original condition, including keeping its old quirks. When the cottage was complete, we moved into it and lived there while we built our main house. We feel truly blessed to be here.

What makes this property unique

Guests have access to fresh eggs from our chickens (when they are laying 🤷‍♀️), a pond for catch and release fishing and plenty of room to roam outside,
