"Orange apartment" is located in Lezzeno, a small village on the shores of Lake Como (6 km from Bellagio).

It is a perfect place to spend an enjoyable holiday with spectacular scenery encompassing the blues of the lake and the greens of the moutain forests.
It is ideal for lovers of water sports (the apartment is 500 m. from an international centre for water skiing and wakeboarding) and also for those who like to go fishing.

The apartment is in a very peaceful location on the lakeside and has every convenience (washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, gas hob with 4 rings, electric oven, microwave, iron and ironing board, clothes drying rack, hair dryer, TV, WiFi).

It is completely renovated and tastefully furnished.

The apartment is on the ground floor of a house with two other apartments on the first and second floors.

It's 50 square meters. It has a dining/living room with an kitchen and a sofà that can become two single bed, a bathroom with a shower and a double bedroom with a bed of 160x200 cm.
There is a very good wi-fi connection.

The apartment has an outddor space with a table, parasol and chairs.
The private parking is nexto to.

It is 50 m. from a stony beach and the bus stop, 20 m. from the local grocery store and bar, about 350 m. from the nearest restaurants ( restaurants Aurora, Abbate, Locanda La Fornace). The Post Office, Bank, Church and Parmacy are about 1 km. away, as is the pier from which boats depart for both sides of the lake.

Excellent apartment

We spend the Christmas days here and explored the area, we loved it. The apartment is very new, clean, cosy and comfortable, parking the car is no problem. A lot of restaurants in the area and beautiful things to see.

Outstanding stay near Lake Como and Bellagio

My wife, our dog and I stayed for five nights in Bruna's Orange Apartment for a fascinating retreat next to Lake Como. Bruna's apartment is excellent, well taken care of, with extreme attention to detail and with all the amenities to make you feel at home (WiFi, washer, dishwasher, heating, TV, etc.), including ample parking. Moreover, Bruna is a fascinating host and upon arrival provided us with many ideas for our stay, including the villas we should visit, the latest ferry schedules, and many other suggestions for great views and a relaxing vacation. I highly recommend this apartment. We're definitely looking forward to going back!

Peacefull Getaway!

We stayed at the apartment for 4 nights and really enjoyed every minute. the neighborhood was peaceful and serene which was nice to return to after a long day of visiting the surround towns. From there it was a 2-3 minute walk to the bus stop and a 15 minute walk to the boat dock. From there we went to Bellagio, Lenno and Varenna. Gina gave great advice on sites to see. There was a wonderful binder in the room that gave loads of information on things to do and see. It also had the bus and boat schedule which Gina also went over with us upon arrival. We ate our dinners there in Lezzeno. There's a few great spots super close -walking distance. Just a note: we took the bus from Como to Lezzeno which cost 3.20 Euro each. It was about a 45 minute ride and you get off on stop #10. There's several stops in Lezzeno, but #10 is only a few minutes from the Orange Apt. VERY convenient!!

Herrlich und erholsam!

Die Woche in Ginas gemütlichem Appartement, das mit allem Notwenigen ausgestattet ist und sich in wundervoller Lage befindet, war super schön und erholsam. See, Lebensmittelgeschäft, Eisdiele, Bar und Restaurant befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Außerdem sind Gina und Emi zwei sehr sympathische und fürsorgliche Gastgeberinnen. Super geräumige Wohnung, sehr sauber

Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, gemütlich, sauber und komplett ausgestattet. Parkplatz auch für große Autos gut geeignet. Der Strand ist ca 3 Minuten entfernt, eine Bar mit Pizza, Pasta und anderen Basics sowie ein Minimarkt sind ca 1 Minute entfernt.

Toller Urlaub

Es war ein toller Urlaub. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich hat alles, was nötig ist. Dank dicke Wände ist nicht heiß drin. Der Strand ist 150 Meter entfernt. Klein Lebensmittelladen ist 50 Meter entfernt. Die Vermieterin ist nett , hilfsbereit und taktvoll. Wir sind sehr zufrieden geblieben.

In Ferienstimmung arbeiten

DIe Wohnung ist sauber, zweckmässig eingerichtet und vollständig. Für einen Aufenthalt für intensives Arbeiten und trotzdem etwas von der wundershcönen Umgebung am Comersee mitzubekommen ist die Wohnung ideal. Sie liegt nahe am See (wenig direkte Sicht darauf), der Quartierladen mit hervorragender Pesto liegt wenige Meter daneben. Ebenso eine Quartierbeiz mit herrlichen Sandwiches. Die Gastgeberin nimmt sich alle Zeit, um den Aufenthalt gut werden zu lassen. Das LAN ist von sehr guter Qualität und ist stabil. Hat ausgezeichnet gepasst. Lezzeno als Ort ist ideal für diese Art von Aufenthalt - ohne grosse Ablenkung.

Mooi appartement. Rustige omgeving.

Wij hebben een fijne tijd gehad in Lezzeno. Mooi en schoon appartement. Rustig dorpje met veel mogelijkheden in de buurt. Vooral de berg San Prima beklimmen is de moeite zeker waard. Daarnaast zijn er verschillende mooie villa's en tuinen te bezichten. Onder andere Villa Charlotte.

Fantastiske Como-søen

Vi havde ønsket en ferie ved Como-søen, hvor vi kunne opleve naturen og området uden alt for mange udenlandske turister. Vi fandt et fantastisk sted, hvor beskrivelsen af lejligheden passede 100% med det der mødte os da vi kom frem. Gina, vores udlejer, var meget sød og hjælpsom med at komme med forslag til hvad vi kunne se og opleve. Lejligheden lå 2 minutters gang fra søbredden og 10 minutters gang fra kajen hvor personfærgen ligger til. Der var gode busforbindelser til Bellagio. Det er bestemt et sted vil vi bo når vi skal på ferie ved Como-søen igen.

Really clean apartment with thoughtful host in authentic Italian village with nearby lake access

Location: Our first visit here and we stayed for 5 nights but felt like staying for longer. A good mix of tourists and very friendly and polite locals. Not crowded at all. Excellent access to attractions like the cobbled town of Bellagio (by bus) and local amenities are perfect: a well-stocked little supermarket with fresh bread (under 1 minute walk). There is a restaurant and access to the beach (under 2 minute walk) with a beautiful paved seating area and only a few stone steps (and wheelchair ramp) to the pebbled beach with direct access to swim or fish (direct access to the water seems quite rare for Lake Como). Mid-afternoon is best for young families; early evening by the beach is a tranquil way to end the day. House: Really clean, modern and well-kept throughout. There is a lake view from the living room window which you can see from the kitchen table. Easy to use shower that had hot water any time of the day. Really comfortable bed with very clean bedding. The house is lovely and cool which is perfect to escape the heat of the midday (no need for air conditioning) but there is an abundance of extra bedding in the hallway cupboard (including 2 goose down duvets) if you feel cold at night. There is a lovely patio with a shaded table and 4 chairs which we used to eat outside as well as 2 sun loungers. Gina’s father and uncle have managed the paved private off-street parking perfectly so that there is enough greenery to enjoy sunbathing. Host (& Service): Really welcoming and attentive as well as very polite yet professional. Gina is someone who champions her local area; she lent us an information folder that included things that I couldn’t find on the internet. Gina is very thoughtful and included things like a bottle of chilled water, rock salt and washing powder. She respected our space but was always ready straight away if I had a question (she lives nearby). Gina and her family went above and beyond with hosting. We arrived late on Saturday and the next day was a local Holiday so the next morning she drove us to a larger supermarket and dropped us off in Bellagio and even put our shopping away! Andre (her partner) drove us to Como train station when we left (as it was quite early). So unexpected and we are so grateful! Tips: Get off at Bus Stop 10 (Google said Bus Stop 9) from Como and travel light (cabin bags). If you have time, take a day off from sightseeing to relax and recharge in Gina's Orange Apartment and at the local beach.

Bella Italia am Comer See!

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, sie wohnen in der Nähe des Appartments und sind quasi in allen Belangen Tag und Nacht erreichbar. Das Appartment befindet sich 5 Gehminuten vom Zentrum in Lezzeno, hat aber dennoch in 2 Gehminuten entfernt eine Bushaltestelle, den See, einen Minimarkt und eine Bar! Da hat man dann auch direkt Kontakt mit den Einheimischen. Waren alle sehr freundlich. Auch vom Appartment aus hat man einen direkten Blick auf den See. Im Umkreis von ca. 10 Gehminuten finden sich die Schiffsanlegestelle und 4 Restaurants, wovon 3 empfohlen werden können: Restaurant Aurora (Essen gut bis sehr gut, Reservierung empfohlen, Personal bedingt freundlich, direkt am See); Restaurant Grotto die Pescatori (sehr gutes Essen, Personal sehr freundlich, bessere Portionen, direkt am See), Restaurant Da Abate (war bei unserem Besuch leider geschlossen, laut unseren Hosts gibt es frischen Fisch direkt aus dem See, große Portionen und gute Preise). Restaurant The Stonehouse viel in fast allen Belangen durch (die Tischbedienung bemühte sich). Im Appartment findet sich auch eine gut sortierte und gepflegte Küche mit vielen Geräten, die zum Selbstkochen einlädt. Alle Räume sehr sauber und schöne Möbel. Betten sind bequem. Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Keine versteckte Kosten! Auf die Nutzung des eigenen PKW sollte man aus sicherheits-, park- und stautechnischen Gründen während des Aufenthalts verzichten. Bus und Schiff (sofern man nicht gerade Speedboot fährt) sind bezahlbar und man kommt überall hin. Como, Bellagio, Tremezzo und Varenna etc. Sehr gerne wieder!

Wonderful month!

Gina’s apartment was as described and is one of the very few with parking right at the apartment. Gina’s apartment was VERY clean and modern and very well maintained. My husband was very impressed with the woodwork in the apartment which had been done by Gina’s father. Everything in the apartment met our needs for the month. The bed is actually a king, which was a nice surprise. Gina was quickly available for all of our questions and was a wealth of information for the area. We took her advice on where to go and what to see and we were not disappointed! Gina is so special to us and you will never find a more caring host! The ferry is about a mile from the apartment. The walk is not hateful, but it is on the small road (no sidewalks) and after walking all day (we are in our 70’s) it seemed like a long walk back from the ferry. We were able to find a parking lot just beyond the ferry on the right which was free with no time restriction. We parked there almost everyday to take the ferry to the other lake towns. The bus is also handy. We rented a car and I would strongly suggest a small car - ours was a large suv. The roads are narrow in this part of Italy with a lot mountain curves. The motorcycle drivers are crazy and pass on blind curves. There are also a lot of bicyclists touring in groups. Gina suggested going to Margreglio to the Madonna of Ghisallo to visit the “patron saint of cyclists” which is a very large cyclists museum. (Part of the museum is in a beautiful old church). We enjoyed the museum, but for us the views up the mountain were breath taking. While there we also discovered our favorite restaurant - il Ghisallino. We had several wonderful meals there and the owner and his staff are beyond charming. There are only a few restaurants right in Lezzeno, all are good, but we especially enjoyed the Aurora. The food and service were excellent and it has a great view of the lake. I would highly recommend Lezzeno and Gina’s apartment to anyone wishing to see the Lake Como area. The villages around the lake all have their own charm, and all of the people we met in our travels were very helpful and friendly - we fell in love with the Italian people! I think it is clear that we loved our month and would love to return!

One of the few houses in the village with adjacent private parking.
In fact the property can be reached by car.
It is located in a quiet area.
A few steps away are a grocery shop, a bar and a free beach called "Il Salice" where you can sunbathe and take a refreshing swim in the calm waters of Lake Como.
A short distance away are the bus stop that connects Como with Bellagio, restaurants, the European Center for water skiing and wakeboarding.
The apartment has an outdoor area with table, chairs, umbrella and swings to have meals or relax.
