Welcome to the mountains and our charming condo at picturesque Snowshoe!

Located in community of Leatherbark, a short walk from the village, this 2bed/2bath condo is at entry-level (no stairs!) with all the conveniences you need for your time on the mountain.

Condo in the Clouds offers 2 well-appointed bedrooms featuring a master with a king and second bedroom with a queen bed. The master has a bath en suite. Both have plenty of storage!

Conveniences for guests include an in-unit washer & dryer, tub in the master bath and mounted hairdryers.

The cozy living room features an electric fireplace, and offers additional sleeping space with a comfy futon sofa beds. Whether hitting the slopes, the biking and hiking trails or exploring the area, this gorgeous rental is the perfect home base for your getaway.

Great place to stay, close to the Village.

The property was clean and matched the description in the post. The host was very helpful and prompt with her responses to our questions. It was about a 5 minute walk to the village, which was great, since parking at the village is limited. It was the perfect place to stay for our weekend ski trip!

Beautiful Place! Perfect Location!

This property was perfectly sized with two bed/two bath. The location was walking distance to the village and there is a shuttle stop right across the street if needed. Highly recommended!

Great location!

Unit was just as described. Great space to hang out and relax. The location was ideal, just a short walk to village central. The unit was stocked with everything you need. There was also plenty of parking.

GREAT place, great location

Been going to snowshoe for the last 5 years and this was by far the best place we’ve stayed. Conveniently located, very clean, cozy vibe! We will definitely stay here again and in fact, we don’t feel the need to find any other places in the future. Laz was awesome and communicated well with us. Thanks for the awesome weekend!

Beautiful Home - Close to Everything!

We truly enjoyed staying in Laz's home. Plenty of space and well-appointed. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The fireplace was super cozy after a long day of skiing. For those who didn't ski, it was a quick walk to village to grab a bite to eat or go shopping. Highly recommended!

Large family friendly condo

The condo was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The kitchen might have been small but we cooked most all our meals without any problems. The location was right between the village and top of the world where we went to play pool at hoots with our teenagers. Beds were comfortable, we would definitely rent here again.

I’ve been going to snowshoe for 30 years.I have stayed at numerous rentals and this is definitely on my favorite list.I’m so glad I booked it for 2 trips.I’ll be back February 6-9..

Great location, quiet yet convenient

Enjoyed the quiet location which was still convenient to the Village. Owner Laz was very helpful and always quick to reply to any questions I had. Unit was comfortable for our needs though the kitchen is a bit small. Overall I would recommend this unit to others. Thanks to Laz for being friendly and easy to work with.

Great stay

Laz, the owner, was easy to work with and prompt in communication. The place itself was clean, well stocked and larger than it appears in the photos which was a pleasant surprise. If there were any downside, it is a longer walk to the slopes than it may appear on the resort map but there are shuttle stops located all around the mountain including in the front parking lot of this condo. In future, I would stay at this location again and would certainly recommend it to others with confidence.

Extraordinary experience.

The condo was well located at just walking distance to the mini market and main village. Complementary Bus service was great didn’t need to use my car at all. The condo had lots of space very clean and organized. Lazaro was very helpful answering all my questions. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Great unit and reasonable price

The unit was great for 4 adults and 2 kids. Having closet and drawer space was a plus along with ability to wash clothes and dry wet gloves and other snowy gear. The kitchen had everything that we needed with a large table to have great meals. It was easy to catch the bus and parking was never a problem at the unit. Unit was clean and plenty of space!

Great Value, Nice Location

I found this to be a very nice property and a good value. Clean, well-kept, and well-stocked (even had laundry soap, not that we did laundry!). Spacious (might be a little cramped with 8) and a good location, although it’s not as close a walk to the village as the map makes it look. With the cold and windy weather we had, we relied on the Snowshoe shuttle, right out the parking lot, couldn’t be much handier. Responsive owner. Good experience.

Family snowboarding trip

Clean place, comfortable with plenty of sleeping accommodations. Pictures are accurate. Be aware that kitchen is quite tiny so if you’re planning to cook meals in it’s a bit challenging. I wasn’t aware that the area has zero cell signal, so the condo having wifi is definitely helpful. Plenty of TV channels in living room but couldn’t get any reception on TV in master, which wasn’t great. Overall good value for $$

Awesome property, even better owner.

Where do I begin? The condo is extremely inviting and comfortable, whether you have a small or large group. There is plenty of space to enjoy downtime when you are not on slopes, and its location is perfect. We were there for 6 nights and never had an issue the entire time. Laz is probably one of the easiest people I've worked with when trying to book a place to stay at Snowshoe, and I've been traveling to the resort for 8 years. There isn't a single negative thing I have to say about either the condo or Laz, and I can't wait to book another trip back to the mountain.

Cozy Weekend!

This cozy place was convenient and perfect for our group of 7! It's a quick walk to the village (even with all your snowboarding gear!), but there is a shuttle available if you don't want to make the walk. The place was clean and stocked with enough pillows and blankets for the futon and pull-out sofa bed. The kitchen is also fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The fireplace kept us warm at the end of a long day on the cold slopes. The owner is fantastic -- very easy to contact and quick to respond to inquiries. Our whole group would unanimously recommend this unit to families or a group of traveling friends.

Cozy and Convenient!

We had a great time at Laz's Leatherbark condo. The condo is laid out well and has all the comforts of home. The beds are comfy and the unit was clean. The shuttle stop is very convenient for easy access to the slopes. We suggest staying on the shuttle until the Western Territory/Powder Monkey stop for easy access to the Snowshoe slopes. We also walked to the village for dinner. It is an easy 5 minute walk but I would not recommend trying to walk to the slopes in ski boots. The Leatherbark condos felt tucked away and quiet. Parking was very easy and convenient. Laz's instructions for checkin and checkout were great. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year. We would highly recommend this unit.

Comfortable, roomy spot 5 min. walk to village.

If you want a larger place, but still at an affordable price, try this condo. Close to the pool and village with shuttle stop right out front. Nice fire pit chill spot off of parking lot. Look for the side trail to the village and cut through between mountain lodge and Allegheny to Ballhooter lift. We were there for the 4848 and this has got to be one of the most affordable 2 bedrooms they offer this close to village. Convenient unloading first floor and parking right out front. Overall a win, 5 min walk to village and 10 min to Sky stage. Comfy beds, kitchen had everything. No AC, but cool nights and fans help. Lots of dresser space for clothes and such. Ice maker worked great and nice having the washer and dryer even if small. TVs in each room and good wifi connection. Landline and wifi calling to keep in touch w home. Laz was great to work with and very responsive. He wanted to make sure we were happy. Would recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay in your little slice of "Almost Heaven"

Thanks for the use of the well maintained and well stocked condo. Everything was wonderful as far as what was inside of your control. Your place was cozy and comfortable and we had no issues with the amenities. The only thing I could complain about was the showers were a little touchy when it came to getting the perfect temperature, but I realize you really can't do much about that. And the DVD player didn't have a remote control (but that only bothered the generation that never had to get up and change a channel!)The phone service on top of the mountain was atrocious and we couldn't get a signal at all. But on vacation, that's not always a bad thing! The weather worked out perfectly for us except the load out was in the midst of a pop-up shower that rolled through. We thoroughly enjoyed the skiing and only wish we would've had more time to squeeze in some tubing and pool/hot tub time. Next time we need to schedule a longer stay.

Great stay for a our family of 5.

We had a great stay at this unit and would return. It was clean and had all of the things we needed for a great skiing trip. We were able to park right in front of the entrance which made loading and unloading super easy. The beds were comfy. TVs and Wifi worked great. The kitchen was adequate, having everything we needed and we made most of our meals at home. Lots of closet space. The shuttle was easy to use to get us around the mountain and you can easily walk to the market and chapel which are right across the street. We visited friends who were staying in newer two-bedroom units situated in the village and by comparison, this place was definitely bigger, had a better feel with the cool skylights, and a much better price. It is hard to find a great place to stay with a family of five and this unit worked perfectly with the futon in the "den" area for our son to have his "own room". One suggestion for the owner may be to add a few more lamps... the lighting is dim at night, especially if you are trying to read. Also, it would be cool to have access to the deck, but I imagine that comes with insurance issues. We had a weekend full of memories and really enjoyed the unit. Thank you for the use of a great place.

Perfect ski and snowboard condo

This was the most perfect condo for our group. We are 4 adults and the place was spacious and clean. Plenty of couch space and dining room table area. Host was very responsive if I had any questions. 10/10 would stay again! We came to ski and snowboard, so it was wonderful having the shuttle right at the front of the complex.

Why they chose this property

In Leatherbark you find the best of both worlds at Snowshoe: close proximity to the village, ski slopes and bike trails, yet far enough to have a peaceful vacation on the mountain. This small community is a mix owner-used and rentals, which means you are often going to encounter a neighbor with knowledge of the mountain and neighborhood.

There is a communal fire pit with firewood provided, along with communal grills and plenty of space for kids to play in the grassy area behind the buildings. It’s a great place to be on the mountain!
