Beautiful Escape with a View

A group of us stayed here for a week in June and we absolutely loved the place. Everything we could have wanted or needed was provided. The kitchen was well appointed. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds super comfy. This home had plenty of room for us to share time together as well as many spots to sit and relax by ourselves. The view of Mount Shasta was amazing to wake up to each morning. The road into the house was a little rough but if you drive slowly it's manageable without 4wd. Our group had such an amazing week, we wouldn't hesitate to rent this house again. The owner was very easy to reach and was very helpful with our questions. He even brought a crock pot to the house for us when we asked if there was one available. Top notch listing!

I cannot rave enough about my extended weekend at the Shasteau! Not only is the view from the house AMAZING but the house itself is spectacular. I spent an extended weekend at the Shasteau with 14 other family memebers to celebrate my late mother. Everyone's stay was comfortable. The house was fully stocked with every kitchen gaget you may need and some! I also noticed on my last day that the host graciously made up toiletry kits which were available in every bathroom, how thoughtful. Jed himself was also very kind and accommodating. I originally planned on having my mothers celebration at the house and he was willing to open it up for more guests than those who were staying. I ended up having more RSVPs than I expected so I moved the event to the Mt. Shasta Resort but the fact that he was willing to open his space for this event meant the world to me! I would absolutely recommend this place and hopefully will be able to stay again myself!
