Peaceful Sunflower Escape, 3bd w/ hot tub, grill, and mountain views!

Welcome to our Sunflower Escape, an enchanting house nestled in the back roads of Albuquerque’s North Valley. Our tranquil retreat has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, extra living spaces, a quiet book nook, hot tub, and a shaded patio area with a grill and games. You'll be just a short walk to the amazing Los Poblanos open space and close to grocery stores, breweries, restaurants, wineries, and Albuquerque’s most unique attractions. We love our little corner of the world, and hope you do too!

You’ll be on a quiet side road with no through access and very little traffic. From the backyard, you can access a beautiful acequia (Albuquerque's historical ditch system for irrigation, now used as walking and biking paths). Neighbors walk their dogs out front, and you'll find people sitting on their front porch in the evening.

Our kitchen is set up for you to be able to whip up a home-cooked meal, and the grill is in back for your use as well. We’ve even got all the equipment for a teppanyaki-style meal on the grill, if you’ve ever wanted to try that, or relax on the rocking chairs, play a little cornhole or throw a few axes and enjoy the hot tub into the evening.

We've got a coffee and tea station inside to help you get your morning off to a great start, and we’ve got complimentary water for your stay. The living room has a large comfy couch and a cute little book nook for your enjoyment, and the bedrooms are designed for a restful night’s sleep with cozy bedding and plenty of closet space, with relaxing modern boho design elements.

Super cool oasis of a house in a nice quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable and quiet. Host was easy to contact and friendly. Wish we could have stayed a few more days! Pet friendly as well btw.

Loved this pueblo!! It was absolutely perfect for my family. The backyard was a relaxing oasis and the inside of the home was very unique and inviting. We felt right at home and would love to stay here again in the future. The house was super clean and the decor and amenities were exactly what I want in a stay. Loved it. Thank you!

Peaceful stay near Los Poblanos

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. It had plenty of space for our family. What we really enjoyed was the backyard and location. The backyard garden was a peaceful place to sit and enjoy the quiet neighborhood with its beautiful landscape. Along with the hot tub snd the access to the acequia behind the property that you can walk along. We highly recommend this home.

Perfect getaway with our pups! Tim was communicative and the access process was seamless. The property is located in a safe residential area close to Los Poblanos open space and a Smiths. The house was impeccably clean with all the amenities, including extra toothbrushes, tooth paste, shampoo, conditioner and soap, games, a hair dryer, and a nice little coffee bar (which I appreciated because I got in late and was happy to have coffee in the am). We also appreciate being able to launder our clothes. There is a small but efficient kitchen/dining area where we had several meals. The range was great for cooking meals. It is a smallish but functional kitchen/dining area with plenty of room to cook and visit. We made German pancakes, pavlova, butternut squash soup, and had a pasta night. I had Whole Foods deliver to the house. The living room couch and hanging chair are comfy and fun for hanging out. The beds were nice and towels also high quality. A/C units in all rooms were a plus! So many special touches! The backyard is the main event with a whimsical and tranquil vibe. The deck with the couches, hot tub and shade gave us the perfect place to chill after the heat of the day, We loved the pomegranate tree and plums. Most of all, our pups loved it! It’s so nice to be a travel and visit with my daughter and her dogs while feeling like I am at my home. This was the ideal place for us and I hope it is available for all of my future visits!

We love to bike the historic ditches, walk to our local coffee shop, and visit our favorite brewery in the North Valley. We're so excited to share our corner of Albuquerque with you!

What makes this property unique

This home was updated in 2024, and we added a gorgeous huge outdoor deck and hot tub to provide some stellar outdoor space. The backyard is tree-filled and fun, with games for kids and a hot tub to relax in after a day of exploring Albuquerque. The full kitchen, cozy reading nook, oversized couch, and ample sleeping space round out what we think is a home you'll love to experience!
