Great location, quaint place, looked just like the pictures, a step back in time which I loved. I was a little confused by the listing because I thought I was renting the entire house pictured, but I was actually renting a living room, bedroom, and bathroom. Great location near down town, an easy walk. The host was super responsive to all my questions.

We were in town for a wedding, it was a comfortable, clean and charming place to stay. Would have liked a few more towels but that was the only drawback.

The house was lovely and offered historic charm as well as modern comforts. It is walking distance to shops and restaurants. The hosts were attentive and gave clear and easy instructions. Note that the house is close to the railroad tracks and the occasional train can be heard, including in the middle of the night.

Brookes House

Not enough towels for 3 people and 3 days,Not enough wash cloths, creamer supplied for coffee lasted only 1 morning. Futon had no frame and sheets provided was one flat sheet.Under the rug, there was nothing but dust and dirt.the house itself was very nice, but the website description does not provide all things mentioned and is misleading
