Our stay was wonderful! Beautiful home and property. This is a great place for family time. The only thing I would add is a few universal life jackets and some new paddles. So if you are staying here and think you might kayak or canoe consider bringing your own pfd.
The property is amazing, waking up to the beauty of God’s creation in KY and sipping your coffee early on the edge of a pond makes your morning great! The manager was beyond patient with us and he was very easy to get in contact with at all times. Our group had the best time. The kitchen is well equipped and the place is as beautiful as the pictures you see online.
The Barn Loft was such an awesome place to stay for our trip. First off, we had to make a date change and the host was super accommodating and easy to communicate with. The entire home and farmland was gorgeous. Our kids loved visiting and feeding the farm animals, walking the trails, and fishing/kayaking in the pond. Every part of the loft was clean and as described. We may have to come back to Kentucky and only stay at the house for the whole trip. Can’t say enough awesome things about it. Definitely going back at some point!
Host was very easy to communicate, answered quickly, try to accommodate requests. The house was like in the picture, the kids enjoyed kayaking and visiting the animals.
We had a great time. The water was great we fished right off the deck that was attached to house. Our children took the canoe and kayaks out for rides.
We had the best time staying here during our visit to the Ark Encounter. The house set up was great for our group of teens and being on a farm was perfect cause it gave them room to roam. The pond was beautiful too! I’ll recommend this listing to everyone asking where to stay while visiting the Ark!

Thank you so much! We would love to have you again!
The house was awesome with the pond and the farm animals! So private and quiet! Beautiful and clean house. Very friendly owners and quick to respond to questions.
Overall, had a great experience and time. Out of the 7 days in Kentucky our favorite day was the one spent at the house enjoying the property and swimming/fishing in the pond. Owner is extremely responsive. When our grill propane tank was empty a new one was delivered within 20 mins. Highly recommend
If you love nature, animals, peace and tranquility…this is the place for you! What a beautiful home! Just like the pics. The barn, the pond, the nature trails…we could not have asked for more!
It’s away from bigger towns make sure you take what you need
It was clean owner very responsive when in need of something. There was a smell in the laundry room and we did deal with some flies it was cold that day so they made there way in . Remember it is in the country away from stores It was very nice inside .
Host Scott was very responsive and answered all my questions. This is a unique place and property, being part of a farm and in a farming community. It rained the whole 5 days we were there, but that didn't keep us from hiking the farm roads and following the train tracks, with umbrellas in hand. The pet farm animals were so much fun to feed veggie treats. Jack the donkey brayed when he saw us coming with his carrots. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well supplied and comfy, the living room just right for us 5 adult siblings. The kitchen was large enough to prepare all our meals there. The kitchen was short on some basic utensils, coffee cups, etc, but that is easily rectified.
We stayed here with our 9 children to go to the Ark & it was perfect. We enjoyed the evening/morning here better than the actual Ark. The property is beautiful, my older kids loved kayaking on the pond, wish we would have brought fishing poles, there was a barn full of farm animals my littles enjoyed, my husband watched turkeys in the mornings, and I personally loved the trains right coming/going outside my window. This is perfect for large families or get togethers, perfectly stocked for many people, they even had games and a football, and the drive out was gorgeous. Theres also a trail we didn’t get to enjoy but I bet is great. I couldn’t imagine anyone being disappointed in booking this place, all my kids, ages 6-21, said it was their favorite place we’ve stayed even out of the beach and mountains!
I traveled with my family of 7. Children ages 14-6. The pond had life vest provided for all ages, much appreciated. The home was clean and well furnished. The host was very prompt and beyond helpful. The drive to The Ark was 28mins and The Creation Museum was under an hour. The animals were gentle and sweet. We fed them produce each night. The property was well maintained. We plan on visiting again!! Adding there is another rental on the same farm if you are looking for 2 houses I HIGHLY suggest this host/property. One home is 11 Guest and the other at 10 gives enough space for even the largest of families!!
