Panoramic View - Gulf Shores Plantation Dunes Penthouse Condo. Privately owned, beautiful 2 bedroom/2 bath condo on the top floor. From our balcony, you can relax and a enjoy a beautiful view of both the Gulf and Mobile Bay.

The newly remodeled kitchen is fully equipped with updated cabinets, granite counter tops and major appliances. Small appliances include K-cup and traditional brew coffee makers, blender, hand mixer, crock pot, can opener, toaster, etc. We have Calphalon cookware and plenty of cooking utensils for most uses.

Our master bedroom has a new king size bed, private bath with tile walk-in shower, and balcony access. Newly furnished den has a sleeper sofa and 43' big screen TV. 2nd bedroom has twin beds with a full bathroom.

Gulf Shores Plantation has numerous swimming pools and several hot tubs. Fitness room, free WIFI, tennis courts, basketball court, and more!

This is a gated vacation community offering private, white beaches, natural sand dunes, great surf fishing, and adjacent to the world renowned Kiva Dunes Golf Course. Come make yourself at home!

Super Vacation

I was at the beach with my 3 grandsons, my daughter and her husband. We had a great week of just being together and enjoying one another. The beach was wonderful, weather perfect, condo was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great Vacation Condo

The condo was great! It was easy to relax there, read a lot, walk on the beach, and truly enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Everything was in great shape when we arrived. Very clean with everything we needed. Loved the telescope, especially when the moon was so close. We were able to focus clearly on the moon and see the craters! Awesome! Thank you so much!

Great location for a family with kids!

This apartment is not large, but it would easily fit 2 adults and 2 kids. (It has 2 bathrooms btw, not one.) The location is perfect for families! There is a restaurant on first floor of the building, but if you need anything beyond what they have at Family Dollar (5 min drive) you have to drive 20 min into town. (Note that only basic paper supplies are provided: 2 rolls of toilet paper, one small roll of paper towels, one dishwasher pod. We had to get more supplies on day 3 because we were running out.)

Only complaint was lack of cupboard space. Every cabinet was full of dishes and pans. There is a pantry in the entryway but not convenient to the kitchen.

Really nice condo with a great beach and lots to do onsite

We had a great stay. We were unsure if we would like staying in a condo instead of a house and we're pleased with our choice. The condo is small, but had enough space for the 3 of us to move around comfortably. The view from the balcony was very impressive and the beach was great. Not a lot of shells if that's your thing, but I did catch a few fish. We really enjoyed being away from the spring break crowds. I could really only list 1 legitimate complaint about the condo, and it is pretty minor. The water pressure in the master bath was super low. You actually had to work to get the shampoo out of your hair and I don't have a lot of hair so that's saying something. Great facilities, well kept property with kind staff and lots of stuff to do. If you like to play pickleball there are a couple tennis courts with pickleball lines on them, hopefully they will update all the courts soon. There aren't a ton of food options close by and we weren't impressed by any of the ones we tried. The Sassy Bass that is on site was pretty good, but tried their pizza place down the road and didn't care for that. Lots of choices if you make the drive into Gulf Shores. Great place to stay and it made for a great vacation spot. Would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing!

Our stay at The Plantation in our condo in the Dunes building was incredible! Our condo was extremely clean, the decor was charming, the view was absolutely breathtaking. From the master suite, every single morning when I woke up, I could see the sunrise no matter if I was laying on my left side or my right side thanks to the positioning of the balcony and the mirrored closet doors. What a wonderous way to wake up each morning. We also had an amazing view of the bay. The building itself was kept very clean and always smelled amazing. We had such a great time in the new indoor swimming pool and enjoyed the hot tubs. If I had to list any cons or perhaps a suggestion, it might be that there weren't really any extra blankets in case you got chilled and it would be fantastic to have an extra few blankets. The grounds are very secure and everyone we met was friendly. I would recommend this condo to everyone, the listing was 100% accurate, and I cannot stress how impressed I was with the cleanliness of not only our condo, but the grounds and the building our condo was in! Fort Morgan was very quiet and our family enjoyed that. I was suprised at how many free or extremely low cost activities there were to do around here. Bike riding through the Gulf State Park was fun. We also drove over to Pensacola and enjoyed that Naval Aviation Museum for free (it was amazing)! If you have enough time, stop by Big Lagoon Park in Pensacola, it is beautiful. Alligator Alley is a short drive and well worth the money. We found a Groupon for the Estuarium over on Dauphin Island and it ended up costing us less than four dollars each to go here. The staff there were so friendly, we loved petting the sting rays and the Ferry ride over was a treat in itself. One more noteworthy thing that we experienced during our stay here was driving out to Fairhope and walking the grounds of The Grand Marriott Hotel (this is historical). Fairhope is a beautiful small town, the drive is gorgeous and if you drive all the way to the point (I think it was on Rout 1) there is a place to park and watch for dolphins. To Mr and Mrs Soriano, thank you so very much for sharing your vacation home with us. It really is beautiful, we had everything we needed and we appreciate how clean it was! The Gulf Shores are just gorgeous! Thanks from the bottom of our hearts, The Addington Family.

View is outstanding; very quiet. Host responded quickly with questions. Did not use any pools. Furniture and rugs need cleaning. There is no recliner. Mattresses need replacing but air, appliances all work well. Lobby and grounds are immaculate and beautiful. Appreciate the safety of gated community. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous Place!!

Our family had an amazing time this week staying at this fantastic place! It was the perfect location, only being a few steps from the beach. We spent every day on the powdery white sand with the kids playing in the surf. We saw dolphins playing close by and found lots of seashells! We watched the sunrise and ocean waves from the balcony and watched the sunset on the beach.The owners sent us all the information we needed to check-in and it was a fast process with having everything ready for the gate. We celebrated our 25th anniversary at Jessie's on the Bay nearby and the food was superb! We also visited Pensacola one morning and watched the Blue Angels practice before touring the Naval and Aviation Museum.Thank you for sharing this beautiful property and we would love to visit again next year!

Family vacation

This was our second time at this complex in this building, love it and will definitely be back again. Being on the 8th floor was great, could even see the fireworks at the Warf in Orange Beach.

Great Getaway

This condo was perfect for our week stay with my parents. The view from the balcony, bedroom, and living room was wonderful. We could sit and watch the birds dive into the water and even spotted some dolphins. The condo was fully stocked with everything we needed. The books, games, and DVDs were a nice added touch. We would stay at this condo again.

We live in Montgomery, just 3 hours from here. We've been to beaches all over the country and these are among the nicest we know of anywhere. Fort Morgan is a special place and the Gulf Shores Plantation Resort offered us everything we wanted right there in one place. We vacationed here for years before we purchased (VRBO #419453) in 2011 and we love it! We purchased a companion condo in 2018 (VRBO #1425721) only two doors down the hall - being so close is perfect for families who need two condos.

We have always enjoyed vacationing with our children at the Gulf Shores Plantation. Now that our children are married and have children of their own, with two companion condos, we have plenty of room for everyone. We've made so many memories here over the years and enjoy reading the guest book as others share their memories with us.

We feel like these are two of the nicest units in the building and we hope you agree!

Why they chose this property

Our condo has a beautiful panoramic view that takes in the ocean, the island, and the Mobile Bay. We love to relax on the balcony and enjoy the view with our morning coffee.

This condo is newly painted and redecorated. The split bedroom design places a bedroom and a bath on each side of the condo with the kitchen and living area in between.

The kitchen is fully equipped. We have a Keurig Coffee Maker for those who enjoy the K-cups and a Mr Coffee in the cabinet for those who prefer drip cup coffee. Kitchen is also stocked with a crock pot, blender, mixer, and toaster. We offer unlimited free wireless internet access and 100 channel cable TV service.

Condo Management prohibits pets or smoking in our condo.

What makes this property unique

Gulf Shores Plantation offers wide unspoiled dunes and a beautiful white sand beach. There are beach chair and umbrella rentals available as well as parasailing and Seadoo rentals. The amenities at Gulf Shores resort include a new salt system indoor pool, multiple outdoor swimming pools along with hot tubs, saunas and two kiddie pools. Enjoy a BBQ with the family at our outdoor charcoal grills and nearby horseshoe pits. If you are looking to stay active we have lighted tennis, basketball, and shuffleboard courts, and an exercise room. Our complex offers a gated entrance with 24-hour security.

For golf enthusiasts there is a putting green to sharpen your skills for one of the many nearby courses. Nationally ranked Kiva Dunes golf course is adjacent to the property. The Beach Club Condo complex is nearby, offering great dining and a full array of spa services to the public by appointment.
