Charming Stone Villa- Cottage with Private Heated Pool and lovely ocean view

This historic hilltop property has been beautifully and tastefully renovated to offer guests a secluded and comfortable retreat, complete with panoramic views of the Dalmatian coast. Set amongst a private estate near the delightful fishing village of Vinisce, the property is ideally suitedf or one or two families or friends seeking a relaxing location with spectacular views.

The stone house has been renovated in traditional style providing outdoor dining and relaxation areas with pool and incredible views of the coast.
Cottage Maika is accessed through a small path and you enter the cottage in an spacious open area, living room and kithcen with open fireplace. Here you have two sofa beds and TV, dining table and fully equipped kitchen. Here you can also get out to the pool area and you have lounge sofas in the shadow under roof and a dining table in front of the open bbq, all is under roof.
From the living room you enter one master bedroom with a very nice bathroom.
Through the stairs from the living room you go down to the second master bedroom also combined with a big nice bathroom.

About Vinisce: The sedate fishing town of Vinisce reclines lazily around a scenic horseshoe bay amid an area of great natural beauty. Verdant hills and secluded coves have led to the area becoming popular with hikers and kayakers.

To make the most of a holiday to Vinisce, car hire is recommended. Other nearby places of interest include Split (35 minutes by car), the Krka waterfalls (45 minutes drive) and of course the many islands located throughout the region.

A lovely cottage

Our family stayed for a week and had a lovely time at cottage Maika. Very well equiped and excellent communication from the owner. The pool was fantastic and well needed in the August heat! The track up to the cottage is fairly narrow and steep and a bit scary the first time but we took it carefully and had now issues with a standard saloon car. We hired a boat for a day from Venisce charter which was fantastic to visit some nearby coves and beaches on the islands around us. We also visited Krka national park. All in all an excellent holiday enhanced by our stay at cottage Maika

A lovely property

A lovely property, nicely finished with quality fittings. The internet was good and the bed was very comfortable. We rented 2 of the 3 cottages with some friends and it was ideal. Each cottage had privacy but were close so that we could easily go from one cottage to another. The pool(s) were wonderful, large enough for two people to swim laps, with amazing views and almost complete silence, no traffic just the birds singing. The road up to the cottage was challenging first time, but we soon got used to it, just make sure your car has a decent amount of power to get past the steeper parts. We had an Audi Q3, a small SUV, and it was more than enough. The cottage was very well situated for day trips to Split, Trogir, Krka and many other interesting day trips. The town of Vinisce had several nice restaurants with many others a little further out. We loved our time in these cottages and would definitely rent again if we are in this area.

Wunderbare Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und wie auf den Fotos dargestellt. Der Weg von Vinišće zum Haus ist ein wenig beschwerlich (etwa 3 Minuten mit dem Auto), aber dafür kann man von der Terrasse aus die herrliche Aussicht und Ruhe genießen. Der Pool war toll. Jeden dritten Tag kam jemand und hat die Wasserqualität gemessen und entsprechen gehandelt.Es war ein toller, erholsamer Urlaub. Klare Empfehlung.

Unser Aufenthalt war super. das einzige Problem war die Anfahrt zum Haus. Sehr steil, unübersichtlich und nur einspurig, das hat es mit meinem PKW nicht besonders einfach gemacht. Perfekter Urlaub!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen. Alles war wie auf den Bildern abgebildet. Hervorzuheben ist der unglaublich saubere Pool. Die Anfahrt ist zwar steil, aber absolut unproblematisch. Wir sind mit unserem Volvo V60 bis zu zweimal täglich den Weg zum Fischerdorf Vinišće gefahren und hatten nie Probleme. Maika‘s Cottage ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt um nach Split und nach Trogir zu fahren. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch das Mieten eines Bootes in Vinišće. Wir sind damit zur blauen Lagune gefahren! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Ausblick aber schwieriger Anfahrt

Wir haben diese Unterkunft mit vier Erwachsenen Personen und einem kleinen Hund gemietet. Der Platz und vor allem die Aufteilung in der Villa sind perfekt für eine gemeinsame Reise mit der Familie und dennoch ein wenig getrennter Aufenthaltsmöglichkeit mit seinem Partner. Die Räume entsprechen exakt den Fotos der Anzeige. Das absolute Highlight ist die große Terrasse mit großem beheiztem und beleuchtetem Pool und wunderschönem Ausblick auf das Meer und die umliegenden Inseln. Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft war weitestgehend gut, auch wenn es im Bereich der Küche an ein paar kleineren Küchenutensilien fehlte. Der Pool wurde während unseres zwei wöchigen Aufenthalts drei Mal gereinigt, mittels PH-Wert Test untersucht und bei Bedarf nach gechlort. Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer Dominik über die Plattform hat einwandfrei funktioniert und war zu jeder Zeit sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten während unseres Aufenthalts hin und wieder mit kleineren Besuchern in Form von Asseln, Tausendfüßlern und Eidechsen zu tun, was einem bei der Umgebung allerdings im Vorhinein durchaus klar sein sollte. Ein Punkt, der uns allerdings sehr gestört hat war, dass der Eigentümer der Nachbar Villa während der zweiten Woche unseres Aufenthalts mehrere Überwachungskameras an seinem Gebäude installiert hat, wovon eine unsere Terrasse vollständig einfasste. Das war für uns ein absolutes No Go.

Very pleasant vacation house.

A perfect place for get away. There were almost 5 star feeling. I recommend any family or group to rent this beautiful place. To be 5 star: No available vaccum cleaner in house (problem when kids moving around) Small bin for rubbish and only emptied once a week. Some pipe issue in bathroom upstairs made bad odur now and then.

Es war alles ganz wunderbar. Der Weg zum Haus ist nicht ganz leicht, aber wenn man erstmal oben ist,ein Traum. Das Haus genau wie auf den Fotos, alles ganz sauber und sogar ein Obstkorb, Wein und Blumen standen zur Begrüßung bereit. Hier kann man sich wirklich erholen.Auch der Pool und der Außenbereich wunderschön!!! Wir wären so gerne noch geblieben.

Traumhaft schön!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche zu viert in der Villa. Es sieht alles genauso aus wie auf den Fotos und der Ausblick ist ein Traum! Wir kamen am ersten Tag erst abends im Dunkeln in Vinišće an und sollten uns dort mit Marino treffen. Nachdem wir Dominik angerufen hatten, erschien 10 min. später eine Vertretung für Marino, er hieß Eddy. Er war sehr freundlich und sagte uns, er zeige uns den Weg zum Haus. Wir fuhren ihm hinterher - eine Vorwarnung für den Weg wäre nett gewesen, wir hatten uns wegen der Bewertungen im Internet darauf verlassen, dass der Weg wirklich gut befahrbar ist, trotz der Steigung (die Villa liegt ja auf einem Berg). Für uns war es aber der Horror den Weg zu befahren, vor allem im Dunkeln. Es gibt keinerlei Ausweichmöglichkeit, geradeso Platz für ein Auto. An unserem vorletzten Tag kam uns beim hochfahren auch noch ein Auto von oben entgegen und die Panik stand uns sicher ins Gesicht geschrieben. Zum Glück war das andere Auto ein Geländewagen der gut rückwärts fahren konnte trotz des steilen Abhangs. Wenn man dann erstmal oben ist, sind alle Sorgen vergessen wegen der schönen Aussicht und des schönen warmen Pools. Wir waren in der Nebensaison da und leider ist in dem kleinen schönen Ort Vinišće dann absolut nichts los. Die Restaurants hatten alle geschlossen. Im Sommer stelle ich es mir noch viel schöner vor. Die Ruhe ist trotzdem herrlich, allerdings war es schon etwas gruselig so ganz allein auf dem Berg (die andere Villa über uns war zu der Zeit auch nicht belegt). Der Pool war abends beleuchtet, sodass wir auch spät noch schwimmen konnten. Es wäre schon gewesen, wenn man die Düsen für kurze Zeit ausschalten kann. Über unserem Pool in der Wand war eine Öffnung und genau an dieser Stelle lag immer sehr viel Dreck, den wir nur sehen konnten, wenn wir die Düsen kurz mit der Hand zuhielten. Wir vermuteten ein Tier in dem Loch, dass den Dreck dort rauswarf. Im Haus selber hatten wir täglich mit Käfern, Tausendfüßlern, Asseln und kleinen Skorpionen zu kämpfen (wir haben keine getötet, sondern immer draußen ausgesetzt). Da die Villa ja mitten in der Natur ganz abgelegen liegt, ist dies ja normal. Beide Badezimmer rochen leider stark nach Abfluss. Mit guter Lüftung war dies aber zu ertragen. Insgesamt war es trotzdem wunderschön und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, dann aber im Sommer!

Super schöner Aufenthalt, in ruhiger Lage

Die Fotos zeigen das Objekt genauso wie es ist. Das Haus befindet sich auf einem Hügel abseits des Ortes Vinisce und bietet viel Ruhe und Entspannung. Der Pool war traumhaft zum abkühlen und auch der Rest des Hauses hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und so lässt sich eine Woche wie im Flug verbringen.

Wunderschön jedoch mit minimalen Unzufriedenheiten

Die Übergabe hat super geklappt und das angestellte Personal war sehr gründlich und und freundlich. Das Putzpersonal war top mit Zwischenreinigung nach einer Woche. Das Anwesen war wunderschön mit herrlichem Ausblick auf das Meer mit seinen Inseln 😍 Der Pool war beheizt und wurde regelmässig gereinigt. Hierzu eine kleine Anmerkung: Eine kurze Benachrichtigung, dass jemand vom Personal zum Reinigen des Pools kommt wäre noch besser gewesen . Die Poolpumpe war auch etwas lauter als gedacht, was in so einer ruhigen Gegend direkt auffällt. Das Haus und der Aussenbereich war perfekt und gepflegt , ein grösserer und modernerer Schrank wäre angebracht gewesen . Alles in Allem war es aber top !! Vielen herzlichen Dank an Alle !

Die Villa liegt wunderbar gelegen ab vom Schuss ca. 30 Minuten zum Flughafen. Anlage wunderschön, auch wenn etwas mehr Liebe zum Detail in der Ausstattung und beim Zustand den Eindruck dieser Unterkunft noch weiter verbessern würde (viele defekte Lampen, teilweise fehlen Accessoires, Schmetterlingsmücken in den Bädern). Dennoch sehr zu empfehlen.

Toller Urlaub in ruhiger Umgebung

Wir haben unsere 14 Tage im Cottage Maika sehr genossen. Es war alles vorhanden was man braucht, die Betreuung durch den Verwalter war hervorragend (inkl einer Zwischenreinigung nach einer Woche), das Haus sehr schön (die Bilder täuschen da nicht!). Das mit Abstand Beste ist definitiv der Außenbereich mit dem sauberen großen Pool (ca. 3*8m), den bequemen Outdoor-Möbeln und dem Blick auf die Adria - das ganze Nachts dann mit einem fantastischen Sternenhimmel- perfekt 👍🏼 Das Haus liegt relativ abgelegen auf den Hügeln von Vinisce, ein Auto (oder alternativ eine Top-Kondition) sind empfehlenswert!

Eine Woche Ruhe und Entspannung

Wir haben die Zeit in Vinisce und dem sehr schönen sowie komfortablen Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Abendliche Spaziergänge mit spektakulären Ausblicken und einer wunderschönen Natur mit viel wildem Salbei haben uns ebenso gefallen wie ein halbtägiger Tripp mit einem gecharterten Motorboot. Der kleine Ort Vinisce besteht fast nur aus Ferienwohnungen, ist aber insgesamt sehr entspannt, weil es keine großen Hotels oder Ferienanlagen in der Bucht gibt. Es hat ein paar nette Möglichkeiten Essen zu gehen und auch die drei kleine Supermärkte. Das Ferienhaus ist über einen etwas steilen aber machbaren betonierten Weg gut zu erreichen. Ob man runter in den Ort läuft oder das Auto nimmt entscheidet dann jeder selbst. Wir können das Haus mit seiner schönen Terrasse und dem tollen Pool empfehlen und würden es wieder buchen.

WHY VINISCE ?

Vinisce is a small quiet fishing town located in a beautiful bay of clear sea and untouched nature, only 17 km from Trogir.

Vinišće was first mentioned in documents from the Trogir landed estates in 1272, even though the time of establishment has not been completely investigated. Judging by the Illyrian structures and remains of Roman constructions, it was inhabited even earlier. During the middle ages, the area was divided into a Diocese, the southern part along the sea, and Opatija - the northern inland part.
The town has several beautiful churches. The church of the Blessed Virgin Mary (St. George) in Orihovica was established by the benedictions in 1272. Surrounding it is an old cemetery with stone sarcophagi. The Church of St. Antun Padovanski (Lady of Carmella) was built in the 18th century in Vinišće itself. The new parish church of The Heart of Jesus has a painting from an unknown painter from the 9th century. The church of St. Ivan on the Ploče cape was built in 1332 according to the legend where the Blessed Ivan Trogir miraculously saved people from Šibenik whose ship sunk.

VinisceIn the surroundings there are several beautiful bays well known for their attractive pebble and sand beaches - Voluja, Ričevo Vrelo, Stari Trogir, Sićenica. Vinišće has several markets, restaurants and cafe bars.

The place has a small marine, restaurants and cafés, and a short drive can get you to the city of Split, the cultural center of Dalmatia. Vinišće is a place intended first of all for lovers of quiet family vacations in private rooms, apartments, and houses and the destination is suitable for those who wish to have their privacy.

Concerning activities, along with swimming and sunbathing, we can recommend surfing, sport and underwater fishing, and boat excursions. For those who love entertainment and night life, we recommend visiting nearby Trogir, Šibenik, Rogoznica, and Split.
