Great communication from the host. The house was comfortable and clean, and conveniently located not too far from the University of South Carolina campus and football stadium.

The house is beautiful and the views stunning. It is very comfortable and spacious and the setting is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped and you can tell that in its heyday it was a very well built home. We did have some issues that resulted in a couple poor rating areas that need to be addressed. I didn't pay attention to the less than perfect reviews as there were so many great reviews but I encourage all to read them carefully to decide whether to rent this house. The kitchen had super low water pressure and a small leak under the sink. If you ran the washing machine the water pressure in the rest of the house became non-existent. Management was quick to respond but never followed up on this issue. The upstairs bathroom shower didn't drain well. We had 10 people living there which made it very hard to manage. Furniture was old and breaking down. Doors didn't open easily. Garbage cans had to be dragged uphill to the house via a very long gravel driveway. This is advertised as a high end house with a high price point. Management offered only a 100 credit or a future possible (not defined) discount for our 7K stay. We have no idea if or when we would stay in the area again so this was just insulting. The house has so much to offer and I hope that management addresses these issues better in the future as it really is a diamond in the rough.
